“The kids had a lot of fun using the basketball court. They had table tennis and other lawn games tòo. Washrooms where clean and modern. It looked as if they were recently redone. Would go again.”

“A short one. It is better the Diez Vistas trail.”

“It starts at the beach and goes all the way around. Just be careful towards end there is a fork and you would have to follow the signs for the parking lot to get back at where you started. The trail is challenging but worth it with nice look out points. It took us 3h ish with frequent breaks. Come prepared if you want to do this hike.”

“I like this place better in the quieter winter months. It offers a secure place for dogs to roam around and interact and go for a swim, if your pooches are so inclined. I find it's a little too busy in summer and the garbage cans stink of dog poo, would rather stick to my local trails along the rivers during the hotter busier seasons. But all in all it's a beautiful place and it's a nice drive in and walk to the Waterfront.”

“The dog park area is great! Warning to humans: the lake itself is extremely cold until late summer so I wouldn't recommend visiting with the intention of swimming (though people do it). On a really hot day, hanging out on a floaty or paddleboard would be perfect! Lots of hiking trails around to enjoy, make sure you pack out what you pack in and use the bear-proof bins properly. You are in bear territory here; do your part and it is possible to co-exist peacefully :)”

“Did this trail on February 18th, very icy! Would recommend spikes or waiting until the snow melts. The trail took us much longer with the ice. Still a nice trail, would be a good easy hike in the warmer months.”

“Awesome hike with fantastic views. Be prepared for a long hike. Wear the right shoes and be prepared for changes in the weather. Keep an eye out for the odd bear as well. Most importantly, take you time and enjoy the views.”

“A great day of hiking. Took us 6 hours exactly from the parking lot. Basically straight up for the first 2 hours. Then up and down for the remaining. It's a challenge for sure! Best be in alittle bit of shape. Watch for bright orange markers which are very easy to spot. Bring snacks and lots of water.”
