“Old park, but fun for 7 years and under. Basketball court, 2 slides, 2 swings and large playground equipment to climb. It's not as crowded, which is nice.”

“This amazing place has the heart of Butchart Gardens with some flowers as big as your head! Just look at that big pink one in my photo it is ELEVEN INCHES wide! A wonderful secret garden full of life and colour. The City of Coquitlam does a stellar job with this unique compact corner setting. In its small size they manage to represent all of the best the plantworld has to offer us on the coast.”

“A lot of time & effort went into creating this special place at the corner of Town Centre Park. The variety of flowers attracts birds & bees as well as anyone in need of an all-natural pick-me-up. There's also a community garden with individual raised beds. You will definitely leave inspired to try something new in your own garden!”

“This area is for movie sets except for the few medical facilities still extant. The buildings are super eerie and the site is great for movies of that genre.”

“I do love this park for "escaping" to the forest when I don't always have time to drive out of the city. Great place to walk your dog. There are on- and off-leash trails. Overall the trails are really well kept and it looks like people are doing their part by cleaning up after their pets and not leaving trash behind.”

“Great place if you live nearby. Has water available for dogs. But people don't clean up after their dogs, so watch your step in the grass.”

“The picture that seems to come up is not at this park. The playground is at RC MacDonald elementary school up the street. The Hickey street Reservoir park has four tennis courts, two basketball courts, and a ball hockey court. They are all fenced in with a set of stairs that leed to a good sized parking lot. There are no washrooms. Courts do have lights that can be activated in the spring/summer.”

“Serene. Beautiful walking path around this small but pretty lake. Used to ice skate on the lake on Xmas Day when I was a child. Lots of picnic tables, lots of shade. Dogs allowed with leash. Well maintained by the City of Coquitlam. A little jewel. Enjoy!”

“One of my favorite dog parks to visit. Really clean and the dogs are well behaved for the most part. Also trails that lead to a small brook down a ravine which is a nice walk”

“This park is stunning. Very well manicured, with a beautiful windy walk way to take a stroll or run of some steam. This is also an off leash dog park. Not fenced in. We met a few well balanced, well behaved pups and had a great time there. Would love to do the full stroll through the park”

“Quaint little garden. Pleasure to inhale the various scents during the growing season.”

“Beautiful location to go for a walk. Many dogs walk on this trail and it appears that most follow the rules and keep their dogs on leash. Seems to be a popular biking path as well. Path seems clean so most people are cleaning up after their dogs. A beautiful location to go for a walk”

“Our son loves the bike/terrain park. Very approachable; more difficult tracks available, but kids pick easier options as well.”

“Love this dog park, it’s a soft sand/gravel so the dogs don’t get all muddy! There’s always a good group of dogs and people here. I go out of my way at least as a couple times of week to go here with my dog. It’s a nice neighbourhood to walk and there’s a trail nearby too. Only complaint would be there that there isn’t any lights directly on the park. The streetlights next to the park make it semi-visible but dark.”

“A beautiful spot! Two different paths to take, and a good sized parking lot beside both (far one is kind of hidden). During bear season though, best to watch out, as many attractive blueberry fields line the trail.. and bears like blueberries!”

“Really awesome place to go for a walk. Parking is a little limited. Great place for a relaxing, low effort hike”

“Nice playground - our toddler is still pretty little, so some playgrounds have less stuff for her to do. This one is really nice though: it has different kinds of swings, a slide, and a water park section that is awesome for the summer. Older kids would enjoy it as well. There's even a washroom there, but it's a porta potty, so not sure if it is there just for the summer.”
