(June 21, 2020, 10:46 pm)Guy with Garlic was the most authentic Japanese restaurants I’ve been to in Vancouver till this point. Loud greetings when you enter/leave with seating and atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in a bar in the streets of Tokyo! Service was absolutely amazing and the food... the most incredible experience ever! Wide variety of dishes that I have never tried before with also some original Japanese dishes that are 10 times better than what you’d find at a street market! Highly recommend and I will definitely bring my friends here when I’m in town!
Highly recommend ordering off the tapas menu!
(February 29, 2020, 10:15 pm)Guu with Garlic is a fantastic restaurant. The food is fresh, masterfully made, and delicious; the atmosphere is lovely; and the drinks are excellent. The staff are also very charming. If you are even remotely fond of Japanese food, you owe it to yourself to come here!
