“I had Mak N Ming at Dine Out and it was a good experience. The portions are big enough for the 3 meal course. I had a tuna appetizer and there were quite a few pieces of tunas in there. I had fish for the main course and it was nice a light, not heavy at all. The coconut pudding dessert was very refreshing, it was not too sweet and not heavy at all.”

“Tried spicy (gochujang) chicken bowl for the first time! It was a great combination with spicy salmon & spicy mayo dressing on top. I would definitely try other popular bowls next time. Great food & friendly service !”

“Great service, as well as plenty of selection on the menu to give nearly anyone a meal that they would love. Some patio space available if you're lucky. Coffee is pretty decent.”

“Absolutely a gem in the middle of kits. I walked in with a friend because I was just hungry and needed something to fill up; not expecting much. Great portions, incredible dry garlic ribs and some quite nice dishes like the friend wide rice noodles with the wok taste--yes positive. Have been there several times. I hope it does not get discovered and get too busy :) Keep up the quality and quantity, PLEASE.”

“Absolutely delicious! Went during happy hour, which probably helped, but the food portions were very good and well priced. There are some local taco joints that are just a bit too pricy for a taco to flavour ratio, but Lucky Taco hits the sweet spot. Staff were very friendly and looked to be having a ball which is nice. Everything we had was extremely flavourful and filling. Two of us ate and were full for $40! Including a beer!”

“I absolutely love this place! If you're wanting organic food then come here and try one of many delicious dishes. The place is bright and friendly, with plenty of tables. The weekends are extremely busy here so I suggest getting there early, so as to not have to wait for a table. There is a small outdoor patio also here. And across the road is there there pie shop and that is a must visit also.”

“I’ve been going for over 25yrs. It was a hole in the wall primarily back then. Traditional cuisine. The only diff is they do it right. Great value and portions and stuck with original recipes. The parents are still involved and continue to mentor. GREAT FOOD.”

“Attached is a photo of my 2yr old loving the dosa from this amazing Vegan food truck. We love that it's vegetarian. Shut down during winter, can't wait for it to re-open!”

“Food was delicate and delicious. Very good quality fish yet generous portion with the price. The server were nice and assertive. The restaurant is small but cute, about 20-22 seats, no sushi bar but windows counter. Only 1 stall washroom. Children friendly and good for casual dine out. Gluten free choices and vegetarian friendly. I love the way they present the meal and the way they slice the fish. Will definitely come back again.”

“What a place. Fantastic service, fantastic food. The choice of drinks are phenomenon as well! If you have no idea what to order, they'll kindly go through dishes for you! If you are a small party, the sushi bar is really nice! But make sure to reserve before you go!”

“I find this location to be absolutely wonderful. The staff are very courteous and seem to enjoy what they're doing. They are not slow but they also don't rush through an Order. If I ask for a suggestion they will make suggestions if I have no idea what I want. I have been going to this location for years now and there has been an owner change. However the service did not suffer from this change and continues to be a good location in my opinion. The parking can be a little frustrating at times but that is not the fault of subway. I also appreciate the shaw Wi-Fi there that I'm able to use while enjoying my meal. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. It's usually not that busy except for lunch time and then it can be quite busy and loud. When I'm in the area this is the subway I like going to.”

“Tasty noodles, extremely friendly service. Have had many wonderful meals here with my family. The place is good for families, friends and the prices are reasonable for fantastic food. Especially like the potato rolls for appetizers, but the noodles steal the show for main courses.”

“It is a family run restaurant with tradition dishes and buffet. The price is affordable in a mid-range bracket.”

“We have always enjoyed this Boathouse restaurant. The timing is key for the view, sunset is right out the glass wall that runs the length of the seating area. Food has always been good from burgers to fish plates. Just about any kinda of drink you may request, within reason from the bar. Good wine list. Coffee was good, fresh at each pouring. Desserts if you can fit it covered most palette. If you have people from out of town and wanna show off Vancouver, this is the place. Parking is ample, but you pay. The Boathouse restaurant does reimburse $3 towards parking, you must ask.”
