Jericho Works Yard - Vancouver Board of Parks & Recreation

Address: 1451 Discovery St, Vancouver, BC V6R 4K5, Canada

Park

“Don't let the size fool you, This Service yard is one of the best In Vancouver. City staff are highly professional, well trained and very polite, They do an excellent job of keeping Jericho beach and surrounding parks clean and looking great. The public washrooms located outside could use a renovation but they are regularly cleaned and in perfect working order.”

West Point Grey Park

Address: 2250 Trimble St, Vancouver, BC V6R 4G9, Canada

Park

“AFAIK this is the same park as Trimble Park. Average playground for smaller kids and a slightly more challenging one for older kids. There is a climbing rock. Wading pool is only open on specific days and times, you have to check online. Has public washrooms. Great spot for bbqs or picnics as there are areas shaded by trees but limited permanent tables, they no longer have the moveable ones which were great. Good spot to watch the summer fireworks at the east end of the park. Couple community events are hosted here annually, including the Point Grey Fiesta.”

Spanish Banks Beach Park

Address: 4801 NW Marine Dr, Vancouver, BC V6T 1E2, Canada

Park

“Beautiful expansive beach with views of the north shore mountains, English Bay and the city skyline in the background. This beach is a city favorite for families to enjoy. Parking may be an issue so get there early to beat the rush. Also parking is now pay parking so beware of the restrictions. Otherwise, still a great beach especially in the summer when the tide is out, you can literally enjoy a long walk to the water's edge and maybe view some herons hunting their food source at low tide!”

West Point Grey Park

“This is a great park close to my house. It has some of the best play structures and a huge field. This park also has washrooms for visitors to use. I come here practically on a daily basis just to walk around and see what this park has to offer!”

“Nice beach ???? Parking & rest rooms good & convenient. Rest room having powerful blow heater running on a cold day. Good for a walk to Jericho beach and kitsilano. There seems to be facilities for volleyball in the season. Plenty of space for all to have fun anyway”

Jericho Beach Park

Address: 3941 Point Grey Rd, Vancouver, BC V6R 1B5, Canada

Park

“One more stunning place in beautiful Vancouver. Amazing view of downtown and Northshore. Nice place to be with family or to walk your dog. There is two separate line for pedestrian and bicycle. There is lots of parking available but still, you may have a bit of challenge at peak times.”

Jericho Beach - Group Picnic Area

Address: West Point Grey, Vancouver, BC V6R 1B5, Canada

Park

Jericho Beach Concession

Address: 3941 Point Grey Rd, Vancouver, BC V6R 1B3, Canada

Park Restaurant

“This is a standard concession stand for the Vancouver Park Board. They have basic food available, which includes fried dishes, grill dishes and frozen desserts. These are priced slightly high for what they are, and the quality of the food is lower than what it could be. The staff seem friendly enough, but it is purely based on who is on shift at that point. Overall, a safe haven if you're starving, but it's likely you'll have a better time if you're only supplementing, not basing a full meal on what is here.”

Hastings Mill Park

Address: 1575 Alma St, Vancouver, BC V6R 3P3, Canada

Park

“Great place to walk the dog or have a picnic. Good place to meet people. One of the very nicely kept small parks in Vancouver. Easy parking. Great view of the ocean and the Vancouver Yacht Club marina. Also you can watch the sailboat races that occur just North of the club. Only five minutes from a shopping centre.”
