“Just ate here for my third time. It’s a great place to grab breakfast or lunch. Retro inspired diner with great classic food. Omelettes, Benedict’s, burgers, melts, meatloaf, etc.. all delicious ! Amazing pies for dessert as well. Cool mid century modern interiors and friendly staff to boot. All profits go to Meals on Wheels too. Definitely recommend this place!”

“I'd say best in the neighborhood. They take pride in their presentation, taste and cleanliness. It is premium sushi and pretty much regular sushi prices. Absolutely now our go-to place. Only complaint is that they are closed Sunday (aghhhh!) :-(. And a slightly earlier opening for dinner (say 4:30) would be welcomed.”

“I used to regular this place! The food is cheap, consistent, and plentiful. It is usually pretty quiet. It's a really relaxing place to go when you are in a pinch. They only except cash, but they are right next to the banks. Their bathroom is a bit like the upside down from stranger things.”

“Food is very authentic and home made taste. It's definitely not a budget place and some of the food portion is considerably small if you have a big appetite. Also beware that there is usually only one server who also helps prepare side dishes which means service can be very slow. My favourite dish here is bulgogi jungol which is sort of hot pot style soup.”

“This is a standard concession stand for the Vancouver Park Board. They have basic food available, which includes fried dishes, grill dishes and frozen desserts. These are priced slightly high for what they are, and the quality of the food is lower than what it could be. The staff seem friendly enough, but it is purely based on who is on shift at that point. Overall, a safe haven if you're starving, but it's likely you'll have a better time if you're only supplementing, not basing a full meal on what is here.”

“I've been going here since I was a kid (20+ years) as I know the owner's son. Attended lots of birthday parties here. Recently came to an engagement lunch here. The look and feel of the Brock House is quite nice. It has an option front view and nice garden area. I recommend to come here for a brunch or dinner. I did not give 5 stars as I feel like something is missing but I can't pin what it is. Almost perfect but not quite.”
