“Such a cute and funny art installation out in English Bay! My husband and I had a lot of fun taking photos imitating the artist’s facial expressions and body language. There’s always people here so if you want photos with no one in the background, the best time to go is in the morning before 10:00. We noticed that people tend to start their days a little later or they have already started their day early if they’re heading to the mountains. People also stay out pretty late in the summers since the sun doesn’t set until after 9:30 p.m. Have fun!”

“We can’t thank Colin enough for bringing our family home safely after we were trapped at our off grid property outside of Boston Bar due to road washouts from the storm. Despite being incredibly busy and working many long hours due to the storm and it’s devastation, Colin and his staff were professional, accommodating and kind. We appreciate how hard they worked to find a way for us to make it home in one trip. The trip itself was incredible. Smooth and with some of the most amazing views…a once in a lifetime opportunity to see part of our beautiful province from a bird’s eye view. Thanks again Colin and Contour, you were our knight in shining armor to the rescue!”

“This park is one of my children's favorite places. It is a very big park and it has so many things you can do with your children. I once celebrated a family member's birthday there and it was perfect. It is perfect for the hot summer weather, the water park area is lovely. Overall the park is perfect.”

“It's a smallish, sheltered Rose Garden. This is not it's best season, and it is still worth a drop in and visit. The garden is very much in development for the summer season, and watching the person building one of the many displays was fun. It is a great place to stop, sit (covered gazebo for rainy days) and enjoy the scents of nature. There is a kids play zone and public toilet just a few paces away, complete with public picnic shelters and cooking stands. The park is quite dog friendly, but most of the park spaces do require a leash for your pets. There is an off leash space on the far side of the baseball field.”

“It has been a good experience for me, and I hope to visit again sometime! The Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre is a gem tucked away in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is dedicated to preserving and representing Japanese Canadian culture, as well as exploring other cultures and arts. The museum’s mission statement emphasizes the idea of “opening minds through learning and discovery” – a goal that it achieves by creating an interactive space that invites visitors into various perspectives of Canada’s diverse history.”

“City of Vancouver has done an amazing job in upgrading their community parks. Even though this is really out there.. not quite a neighborhood park. BUT the kids loved being here. Very safe and soft rubber surfaced park with good fun installations for the kids to play. All installations were well thought out and in great condition. The rock climbing on a slant wall for the kids to climb up and then slide down and the net pyramid with a suspension bridge took the cake. These are at an elevation when compared to a turf track where I guess one can go for a run with a good visual of the kids.”

“I love having this great beach with amazing views only 400m from where I just moved to. I can walk there in 5 minutes. It's so nice to be able to do that and not need to worry about parking. I feel blessed. Sure the water is a little chilly but on a hot day I can still go in up to my neck.”
