“Strathcona is a great park that I would frequent quite a bit with my kid. The families tend to be down to earth and friendships are quickly made. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 is the chance of finding needles there. It's not as common as other areas and sadly it's a part of life in Vancouver but bringing a very young kid here would be difficult. At the time (and maybe still) there was a service you could contact that would come out and pick up any needles found and we twice contacted them at the park. 2 times isn't a lot but it's enough to make mention of.”

“We spent a week here during COVID-19. Everything was clean: the sites, indoor pool/hot tub (including the pool toilets), playground (and area), the washrooms (flush toilets and hot showers), and laundry room. The only downside is the active trains (both CP and city). But, would definitely stay here again!”
