“We hiked the trails but didn't do the guided tours. The switchbacks help, and the trails are well maintained, but you definitely need stamina and 'climbing legs'. There are nice educational signs along the way that you can use to rest without looking lazy or out of shape ("Hey kids, let's read these signs and learn about caves!"). The road is gravel and full of potholes, so it's an adventure to get here, but the remoteness has probably helped keep things less damaged from the worst tourists...”

“Super peaceful and beautiful place to visit. The lake is pristine. The campground seems a very nice one. It is a dry campground which means other than only one faucet in front of the office/store there is no access to water whatsoever. There are only pit toilets available. Kayak and canoe rentals are available. The staff are friendly.”

“It's an amazing waterfalls, over flow from Cameron Lake BC. There is washroom facility, plenty of parking, trails are fairly marked. A direction sign is not there which making visitor get to confused to go to lower falls through the loop. Please use right trail to go to the lower falls left one will take you to trail head from community other side. There are fences installed to ensure safety of visitors. Please do not cross this fence as there is high risk of falling into water exists as little as one slip/wring step. There is a clear trail map incubating locations. There are 2 campsites adjacent. If you are driving to Port Albernie BC. It's is worth a stop for minimum an hour to enjoy the gushing waterfalls 💖 😍 🇨🇦 Please be safe and use caution, at at few locations you can get to water safely for soaking your feet if you choose to. If you want please do so with care please.”

“Absolutely gorgeous waterfalls you can see from many different angles as you hike along fairly easy trails in the woods. Flush toilets open some of the year, pit toilets are the back up. Unforgettable experience! We visited after heavy rainfall so the falls were super powerful!”

“Had a wonderful first experience at this campground. Beautiful beach and views of the ocean. There is always a breeze!Definitely not a provincial site. It is mostly set up for and visited by large RVs even where there isn't hook-ups. There are nice tenting spots but they are not very level and are close to the highway.”

“The pool was so much fun I just kept going on the water slide over and over again! The pool is also heated which is nice later in the evening. Having a playground, a pool and a convenience store with ice cream and kid snacks is great for a family with younger kids. And an outdoor public barbecue! Great customer service and a babysitter”

“I love this place, I’ve been coming here for years. They update the playground equipment each time. It’s a quiet campground. It’s a really fun place to swim for the kids too. The staff are wonderful, one year the kids got tractor rides and the owner came to our campsite and played guitar and sang an original children’s song for us. One year I lost a diamond earring on the playground and they found it and kept it safe at the office for me. I also like that it’s close to lots of other great places for day trips and many restaurants and coffee shops.”

“Every visit is a new delight. There is always something in bloom and the landscape is ever changing. The staff and volunteers are always ready to help. During covid, there is still a wonderful selection of items from the tea House available for takeout. The gift shop is open where you can purchase unique and thoughtful items. I cannot say enough about Milner Gardens and Woodlands.”
