“We hiked the trails but didn't do the guided tours. The switchbacks help, and the trails are well maintained, but you definitely need stamina and 'climbing legs'. There are nice educational signs along the way that you can use to rest without looking lazy or out of shape ("Hey kids, let's read these signs and learn about caves!"). The road is gravel and full of potholes, so it's an adventure to get here, but the remoteness has probably helped keep things less damaged from the worst tourists...”

“Plan to visit this museum when in Qualicum Beach! While small, it has a diverse range of very exciting history on display. From paleontology and fossils, to social history and culture ... step back in time. If you enjoy Royal memorabilia, you will find a nice collection to browse. Admission by donation - $5 a person is average. Please support the local artists in the gift shop - artists and museum need our support!”

“Liked the people. Very warm and helpful. It's right at the entrance to the Qualicum Bay Resort Trailer Park. The beach in front is Rocky. The best idea is to put the paddle boards in or on your vehicle and take them quarter mile North do a little road Sunny Beach Road access to the a sandy beach. The price was reasonable and reduction for extra hours. They give you a half hour free to get paddle board in and out of the water. Excellent local food helps round out a nice holiday.”

“Absolutely gorgeous waterfalls you can see from many different angles as you hike along fairly easy trails in the woods. Flush toilets open some of the year, pit toilets are the back up. Unforgettable experience! We visited after heavy rainfall so the falls were super powerful!”

“Our favourite farm to visit - we love visiting the goat and emu! Our favourite visit one of the horse was obsessing over my aunts pregnant belly! It was so precious- it would place its nose/snout on her belly gently move up and down. I absolutely will be back!”

“Every visit is a new delight. There is always something in bloom and the landscape is ever changing. The staff and volunteers are always ready to help. During covid, there is still a wonderful selection of items from the tea House available for takeout. The gift shop is open where you can purchase unique and thoughtful items. I cannot say enough about Milner Gardens and Woodlands.”
