I expected the place to be something else when I reserved, however it was 100Xs better than I ever could have imagined. Had the lamb and ravioli and shared it with my date. Both were amazing to say the least. Zero complaints and the small cozy nature of the venue was perfect for a nice romantic dinner. The service was top notch with a blanket for my date because we were sitting near a window and it can get a little chilly as they said. That alone right off the hop blew her away and made the time we had there even better. Were also given a on the house duck pâté with house made kettle chips and bread which was amazing as well. The entire experience was awesome and helped make our weekend in Whistler one of the best weekends of my life.
Good food, nice staff, fast service. Fair prices. Locally used ingredients and owned.
This restaurant is very small.
Amazing atmosphere, warm service, and great food. We ordered meat balls for kids and they were so excited when I cut in half. But it was very salty so they couldn't finished it.
Lamb and Duck were delicious, but I was disappointed a bit because the garnished vegetables for lamb and duck were the same. (Bit pricy, so I just expected that there would be more variety on the side.)
An unforgettable, unexpected experience that warmed the heart, soul and of course, the taste buds.
After a late evening massage at Scandinave Spa - where my partner and I honestly thought no restaurant would be open at that hour - Legs Diamond came to the absolute rescue. Gosh - the food (onion soup, steak & frites and pasta) was devine, the staff acted like family, and the chef radiated love for his patrons, people and food.
We loved every bite and moment we were there. You couldn't help but clearly connect the quality of the food to the love/kindness/warmth in the chef/staff. We sat and admired the beautiful interactions in the restaurant - from the chef/owner entertaining one of the other remaining tables, to him encouraging a staff member to write in the books a later clock out time, and the infectious banter between the staff. Even the goodbyes - were so genuine and sweet.
If you want to know what love tastes like, go to Legs Diamond.
We will certainly be back. Alex and Kathy from Melbourne, Australia
