“I recently had the pleasure of visiting the new campsite at this beautiful location. The warm welcome from the extremely friendly owners made our stay enjoyable from the get-go. The campsite itself is spotlessly clean and well-organized. The restroom facilities are very clean and well-maintained. The value for money was really good. The owners were always available to provide helpful tips, the warm and personal atmosphere truly was impressive. All in all, I can't recommend the campsite enough. Anyone looking to have a good stay in the Cache Creek area is definitely in the right place.”

“If you like rustic this place is awesome. Running cold water only and electrical in cabins with beautiful decks overlooking the lake. Couple of them had toilets but we opted out. They have clean seperate bathrooms and showers. Awesome artwork can be viewed throughout property. Could not say enough about the hospitality. The owners are great very accommodating and friendly and awesome to chat with. They chopped up would ready for the fire pit for us to return to from early evening fishing. Lake has fish albeit small we caught several (trout). Swimming wasn't really an option as there was much algae as the lake had released. Mind you we did see kids swimming and in all fairness the weather wasnt on our side. Do bring water for drinking as there is a water advisory water must be boiled it comes from the lake. Would return and recommend.”

“My Grannie and I stayed here after we won a prize of a two night stay from Gold Country. We had car troubles and started to doubt if we'd make it to the B&B, but we did and were met with understanding and kindness on the phone when we explained what was happening. When we arrived late, We were warmly greeted by Karen who showed us the very generous space and a full menu to choose from in the morning. Great calm environment and an excellent breakfast and time of socializing in the morning with Karen and her husband Charlie. We were very impressed and want to come back. Thank you for making a stressful day a very good one!”

“If you find yourself in need of a bed in Cache Creek, we highly recommended the Sunset Motel. If your GPS is not cooperating just look for the big sign up on the hill behind, cheekily suggestive of Hollywood. Outside, a low wall creates a barrier between your vehicle and your unit door, and that exterior space offers a table with two chairs, where you can relax with a beverage, review the day just gone, contemplate tomorrow or just watch all the passing trucks, wondering whether each driver is having a good or a bad day. None of these however is close enough to disturb your good night's sleep Inside, your room, if not huge, is spotless and solid with clean, attractive fixtures that tell you this establishment values those who choose to spend a night. The bed is super comfy, and if you want regular TV and not all that silly streaming stuff, use the big remote, not the small one. Or just ask the helpful proprietor. We found the more we engaged with him in respectful conversation, the more rewarding the experience became. And keep an eye out for the black cat, cause it is keeping an eye out for you. We stayed twice in September 2023, first on our way north overland to Haida Gwaii, and again several weeks later on the last night of our return trip home. Sunset Motel is definitely a cut above your average roadside motel, an excellent value. D&D New Westminster”

“Prices way to much!Prices these days are high enough without our on local grocery store taking advantage of locals who are unable to go elsewhere and tourist have it bad enough with high gas prices. They don't want to come to cache creeks only market and be raked over the coals for simple items such as dollar store items prices at 6$ plus. And have the ride non English speaking staff watch your every move while in there but never ask if there is something they could help you with. They seem unhappy and annoyed with any presence in store. I'd only go back there if I absolutely have to. If you have a choice avoid the over priced dirty under stocked store if you can.”

“Really sweet lady, she honestly made the stay. She worked the office until 11pm and checked us in so late, then opened the subway for our breakfast, made a fresh pot of coffee for us too. Rooms were very clean, awesome blankets and pillows. Mattress was a bit firm but my spouse loved it. I would stay again just for the customer service. You can stay at a 5 star hotel but you'll always remember how the staff treated you. Staff here are a 5*”

“A great place to wash and dry your clothes if you are travelling between Vancouver and Calgary. The place is clean, tidy and has a nice waiting area with magazines. Note that the building is on the other side of the street (not as shown on the map!), park on the street. Washing: $4 per load, Drying: 1 Quarter per 5 min. Toilet available.”
