“Hands down my favorite place to get iced coffee! Donuts are a bit pricey but they are worth the price.”

“Go watch the spectacular tidal bore then have a delicious baked good and yummy cafe latte at NovelTea. Like cheesecake? There were three different kinds. July husband enjoyed a pesto tomatoe flat bread and I had a Buddha bowl (nourish bowl). Lovely patio to sit, relax or watch people go by. Local artists and many books create a delightful ambience.”

“Really cool unique do it yourself painting place. Love the atmosphere and the variety of cool things you can paint. The paint and paint brush variety are plentiful, love how vibrant the colors are on the product after its been fire kiln. It's not cheap but that being said it's equivalent to going out and getting a souvenir. " been there, done that, got the T-shirt "”

“Tim's is an ok place to grab a coffee. They are not as good as years before when coffee was tasty and hot and the food was fresh. You remember those days...they were called bakers. Now I find myself going in to TRY and get a good cup of coffee but it usually takes about 3 times to remake it before they get it right and then they throw attitude at you because you asked to have it remade to your specifications not their's.”

“Service was awesome and the donuts were even better. They are a little bit on the more expensive side, but definitely worth it. They have 3 different price ranges depending on how fancy you want your donut. Did not have any drinks so can't rate those yet”

“Clean and inviting inside. Good location geographically. There are more cold drink options than hot options on the menu which I thought was a bit odd. No vegan or lactose-free milk options for the drinks. Service is decent.”

“Amazing spot, friendly staff, delicious food! We found this place by accident, and couldn't believe how busy it was when we got there. Apparently everyone else knows how awesome it is! We ordered a couple breakfast sandwiches - quite literally the BEST breakfast sandwiches we've ever had! Mine was on a homemade whole wheat roll, and my husband had his on a homemade biscuit - amazing! Even the coffee was incredible! They had these french vanilla cappuccino pods that were so good I just ordered a whole box to have at home. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area!”

“Great stop! Grabbed a late lunch - had a wrap. Food was great! Wish I had tried the coffee. Also, grabbed a locally made Appleton chocolate truffle for dessert on the way out! So yummy!!”

“Such an unique experience! My boyfriend and I spend a night here and have zero complaints! I was so impressed by the amount of work and care that is put into this place. We stayed in caboose #9 which is very spacious and has the bonus of two conductor chairs up top. The caboose was clean and had coffee/tea and all the linens/towels you would need. There are a ton of things to look at in the gift shop, and I recommend picking up a neat souvenir. The bar was open too but only until 4pm - not sure if that was due to COVID or just being a small town. We were able to check out some other pubs/restaurants in the area and grab a drink there so it was no issue. Patrick is really great and made us feel welcome during the entire stay. It's also very neat to learn the history and meet the owner. We will definitely book again and check out a different caboose, and hopefully experience the dining cart or some live music.”

“This particular Tim Horton's is located within a mall, so you only have food court seating rather than the usual set-up. I bring my elderly aunt here whenever I'm visiting Truro, as she likes to stop for a cup of tea. Staff seems decent whenever we've dropped by.”

“Love Mc D's they always have a great selection of goodies. Most of the time they are always prompt with getting you your food. Sometimes things go not so good but can't have it good all the time. I love their apple pies and even their little sundaes are nice. Great place to go to get a bite on the go.”

“Went here today and it was extremely busy. However the line was organized and moved quickly. The staff was friendly and energetic. There was one gentleman working that went above and beyond. He did not have a name tag on but was sensational. He had a blue sweater on and may have been a manager or assistant manager, not sure bit if he isnt he certainly should be! He greeeted customer after customer with a smile and happy positive attitude. He shared new product info in a fun and inviting way and greeted everyone as guests. Bravo excellent customer service. If everyone put this much love into their jobs the world would be a happier place. We had the new 1.99 chicken sandwich and it was awesome!!”
