“Fascinating museum and wonderful place to learn about the history of Kincardine and Bruce County. And, it is a great place to have a drink, too, with a myriad choice of house made cocktails. If you are looking for a softer option, the tea service is wonderful, using antique tea sets reflective of the museum experience.”

“Stoney Island has amazing trails for cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced trails are offered in a variety of distances. The trails are a series of loops that you can repeat with ease. My children, aged 10, 12, and 15, who are all new to cross country skiing this year, thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There were only a few hills, and if you stick to the Beginner trail these can be completely avoided. The trails run entirely through the bush and come close enough to the lake that you can snap a few pics. My family highly recommends Stoney Island Conservation Area for skiing and snowshoeing. A cost of $5 per family or $3 per person is required by drop box.”
