“We had a lovely experience at Maple Haven. Laura and Joe are great hosts who made sure we had a wonderful time exploring the area, they were always full of recommendations for beautiful places to explore. The B&B room is in the basement, with a comfy bed, seating area, and fireplace. Nearby is the bathroom, bar, and kitchenette. In the morning breakfast was different each day, and we had it upstairs (too cold to have outside now but they have a beautiful balcony), it was also accommodating of our dietary restrictions, and full with local and healthy options. This haven is in a 50 acre property full of trees, with trails to explore, and the fluffiest bunny named Juicy, who was a huge hit with our 2 year-old. Definitely recommended!!!”

“I am giving this a "good" review because my needs were very basic (2.5 stars would be my ideal rating). I needed a place to crash for one night while hiking the Bruce area. The location when doing a trip like this is ideal, and that is the primary factor in my review. The staff I met were also great. The room, and building, and the grounds just are not in great shape though and did not match photos I saw. I did not feel my room had had a really good cleaning. As a non smoker I was also not happy with the cigarette but cans and butts around the door area outside. The TV and WiFi were not big factors in my stay, but neither worked. Being that I was literally only sleeping there for a night, I did not bring this up with the staff The microwave, coffee maker and fridge were items I needed and they all worked fine. It looked like it had a large outdoor grounds which is likely good if you have kids. And again, a great location if you are planning on hitting sites in the area. It should be stated that I have stayed in other motels in this area and they are very similar and have higher rates. It's a tough spot to find lodging in, especially with peak season rates. For my needs, it was fine for a night. But there is no way I could agree with 5 star reviews based on my stay. I don't think they will give people a realistic expectation and will possibly lead to frustration. Especially if they are planing a multi night stay. Also, another reviewer mentioned it's 'city people' leaving the bad reviews. I am pretty far from a city person and am used to sleeping in all kinds of 2 star motels on the road. I feel my review is realistic.”

“We only have great things to say about our stay in the treetop suite! The host was very courteous and friendly. The property is beautiful, especially with the leaves changing. The suit is clean, comfortable and so unique! The breakfast was equally as incredible, the host even made gluten free options (the gluten free pancakes are some of the best I have ever had). “Had a wonderful time while camping for the week! Owners and staff wonderful, welcoming people. Seasonal campers also very friendly and inviting. Beach access. Water clean to swim. Would recommend wearing water shoes as there are some rocks. Pool very clean. Bathrooms clean. Very well kept campground. Yes I would recommend this campground and hoping to go back one day soon...”

“What an awesome stay, Both me and my girlfriend were very impressed by this experience. The owners Josh and Annie should be extremely proud of themselves for creating such a welcoming and suitable environment for us and everyone else around. People are friendly here, the park is so beautiful and so clean everywhere we went. The Site we stayed on was gorgeous, especially being an overnight rental spot we were plesently surprised by the quality of it! Lots of stuff to do and lots of amazing scenery to look at. The lake was beautiful and extremely clean as well! Overall the best trailer experience we've had all summer long. Can't believe this place doesn't have a 5 star rating! I just hope that by next year we will be able to book a spot here again!!! Great Job.”

“We had a great stay in a trailer rental and will definitely be coming back. The seasonal campers here are really friendly and management/employees were nice. Park is well maintained and there are two heated pools that we enjoyed. Short drive to Sauble Beach too!”

“The golf course was really great, the bridal sweet was quite nice however we were not happy with the food at the Sweatwater restaurant. Both the drinks and food were way overpriced. Upgrade costs for certain liquor and food. One piece of overcooked white fish, no side with extra charge for ceasar salad. Service was also not stellar. Sorry will not go back.”
