“Just stayed at Happy Hollow Campground in Port Albert (North of Goderich). It was a small park but very nice employees and very hopeful. A short walk to a beach on Lake Huron(a couple of steep hills on the walk). Close to Point Farms Provincial Park. Transit site close to a river. Would recommend it to anyone. To small playgrounds, pool and shower facilities.”

“This park has both good and least attractive features. Lets talk about the good part of this park. 1. Only 2 Camping Zones 2. Camp site are of decent size where you could put 10p cabin tent and 12x12 shelter and still you have enough to get around. 3. Best part washroom are very clean ans well maintained. 4. Few minutes away from Godreidge Town and its beautiful beaches. 5. Best Sunset of Ontario. 6. Less mosquitoes ?. Coming to Least Attractive Parts: 1. Beaches are not very gr8 less sand and more stones 2. Very less trails. Longer stay mightnot help. 3. Waves current are high. 4. A lot of wind.”

“There isnt much space for parking. Launch area not overly clean. It wld b nice if they had a designated launch area for sea doo; kayak, canoe. It's not fair that non motorized craft have to pay same as boat. The seadoo's tie off at launch and they will go for lunch. Makes things difficult for others. If they had their own launch or boat slip off to the side it wld be better for everyone. Definitely not right to charge a kayak launch fee that is ridiculous. If you have to make it like 5.00$”

“Fabulous location for a rustic getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our cabin nestled along the Maitland River. We enjoyed the easy access to fishing and the hiking trails. Our site and cabin were very clean, and it was fairly quiet especially after 11pm. We will be returning and would highly recommend!”

“This was an awesome trail to walk on. I did notice some of the bridges were replaced, but there are still more that need to be fixed up. It looks like they are still working in this, because I saw some new bridge sections piled up on the side of the trail. Some additional markings at the trail junctions would be nice. Some of the junctions were missing the markers to show which one was the white trail and which one was the blue trail. Overall this is a very nice trail and would walk it again.”

“Always have been a big fan of Goderich for its sunsets, hills and trails. Beach is great but also very rocky both out of the water and inside the water. The water also gets deep very fast so be careful of kids or beginner swimmers. Farther you get out, you'll get more sand but that is much deeper. Goderich is always worth a visit.”

“Visited Riverbend Gardens for the first time and it definitely won't be for the last time. So many different varieties of hosta and day lilies and Shirley, the owner, is so knowledgeable. You will find varieties here that you won't see anywhere else. Well worth a visit.”

“Having read another “review” from the weekend, I felt compelled to write one of my own. We had an amazing weekend camping at Falls Reserve with our two young girls. The campground is incredibly clean and well cared for, and the staff was professional and friendly. The girls loved swimming in the falls, and the vast majority of campers are respectful and friendly. On our first night, we had a group of folks in the same section as us (cedar) who were incredibly loud, obnoxious, obviously intoxicated and using language that I can’t say here...but I assure you it was mind blowing. They were asked to leave the next day, and by the looks of it left an unfavourable review. We heard the two young security girls speak with them in the morning and they responded courteously...until the girls left, and then the comments they made about them were disgusting. As a family with young kids, I appreciate that the park decided to take action. I have absolutely no problem with having some drinks and a good time, but swearing, using grotesque sexual language and being extremely loud until 5:30am is incredibly disrespectful to the other campers in the section. Despite this, we really enjoyed the weekend and would return without a second thought...especially in light of how the park handled these immature individuals. They spoke to them multiple times, and gave them ample opportunity to quiet down and be considerate to those around them. Thanks for a great weekend falls reserve! Keep up the good work!”

Bathrooms very clean. Whole park clean and fun to be in! Very different summer for camping but they made us feel at home!! Thank you so much!! We will return and highly recommend Pine Echo Camp to anyone!! They even let us borrow an adapter so we could have hydro. Price was perfect!! Thank you!”

“Wawanosh has 3 colour coded trails. Red is a 1km linear, orange is a 3km loop, and yellow 5km loop with some cross paths. Red and orange both travel by the Maitland river and both were great to travel on. Yellow trail had no "WOW" landmarks just some mature trees and the trail was over grown grass.”

Thanks so very much to the new owners for putting into place appropriate measures and rules to keep us all safe during these trying times. The park offers boating, fishing, swimming, horseshoes, campfires, rest and relaxation. The family friendly atmosphere in the park is second to none. You'll Love it. It's a gem.”
