“Note sure what Sue is talking about. The grounds are well maintained and the wildlife is part of the appeal of casawinati. The owners are extremely pleasant and accommodating to any needs that come up. The park is quiet with amazing people. This is a highly recommended park.”

“We had an amazing time at Ennis' cottages. As an avid fisherman, I was in paradise, lol. The long dirt roads allowed us to get out with the dogs and do some exploring. I threw the ball for one of our dogs at the boat launch daily and nobody seemed bothered. I do however encourage being leashed for everyone's safety. The weather was amazing allowing us to just chill on the deck and read a book. We got out an explored a few nearby towns for food and "fare" well call it. Perth Brewery and Balderson cheese, are another pair of nearby favourites. This place exudes that nice homey feel. The people were awesome. I definitely plan on another visit.”

“Christie Lake is heaven on Earth. Jordan's is the best place to camp. My family first started camping at Jordan's back in the 1970's and we all fell in love with the area. Alan Jordan was the most incredible host to every camper there. Its wonderful that this family tradition has passed down in generations. Beautiful scenery and kind people. You canNOT find a better spot to relax, fish, swim than Jordan's.”

“Spent two nights here, and it was perfect. The ground are great - swimming, kayaking, canoeing, hiking. The cabins are well-throughout, clean, and the perfect blend of modern and rustic. The hosts clearly care a lot about their work, and it shows. Couldn't have asked for anything better.”

“We travel to Ottawa from Peterborough quite often and always make it a tradition to stay at the Colonial Motor Inn in Perth. The price is very reasonable, Raj and all the staff are always welcoming. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the grounds well maintained, and the outdoor swimming pool is fantastic. We stay at many hotesl/motels and this is by far one of our favorites. We highly recommend it.????????”

“I stayed at Penny's lane for 2 weeks. I was greeted by Penny and given the tour. What a beautiful property!!! I am downstairs and ready to head out the door by 7am every day...Penny did not disappoint she was up every morning with my fruit smoothie ready to go. She always provides a healthy, tasty nutritious breakfast before leaving. Penny goes that extra mile to make sure you're looked after. Thanks Penny I showed up to your BnB as a guest and left as a friend. Thank you so much!!! Sincerely Jason Shoults”

“This B&B is by far the greatest we have ever come across. Penny is a wonderful host, cook and a great person to be around. The whole property is outstanding and the décor is something straight out of a magazine. Yet you feel right at home. The suite is incredible. Words cannot do it justice. If you happen to be in the area, plan a stay!”

“Great place to get away. Couldn’t recommend it any more!”
Address: 2243 Elm Grove Rd, Perth, ON K7H 3C7, Canada
“We had a great stay here for the long weekend. It's just far enough out from Ottawa without being too inconvenient. Beach was nice, lots of activities. Never had any issues with noise or complaints. And that's with our own 2 children being pretty loud. The staff were excellent and always friendly. And Perth is only a quick drive away if you want to get back into cell reception and have access to amenities. The only thing that could have been improved is the fire pit. Not all that great of a design. Otherwise it was a perfect camping trip.”

“One of the best wilderness scout campgrounds around. Easy access to water for canoeing, beautiful camp sites, and a clean water pump (boil first), and trails everywhere. If you are looking to camp with your pack or troop, this is the place.”
