“Sadly, not the greatest experience here. They only had 2 people working a Sunday mid day rush. Waited almost an 45 min for the person in front of me to get their coffee was then told I'd have to wait another 10 minutes for my stepped tea. The staff seemed to prioritize the drive through window, and when an order for food came in they just slowed down altogether. I don't blame the workers, they were diligently trying to keep up. Having at least another staff there would make the experience that much better!”

“Ordered takeout from China House on a recent trip to Deerhurst Resort as we were craving Chinese food. My boyfriend and I come from downtown Toronto so our standards are fairly high for this but we were pleasantly surprised by how great the food tasted and the size of the portions. The takeout lasted us for 3 meals definitely got our money’s worth! Food was well packaged and we got some fortune cookies as well. The restaurant has a wide selection and the taste is very authentic. The restaurant interior was also well maintained and there were hand sanitizers upon entry. Would recommend to anyone in the area!”

“Nok is such a great person and Thai chef. Nok has a food truck in Huntsville that has been going strong for 7 years. Once you ordered the food is started. Nothing is made before hand. “After 5 days in the backcountry of Algonquin we were looking for some cold drinks and good food. That is exactly what this spot delivered. I would steer clear of any negative reviews on here. Prices, service and food are awesome! We walked in, the staff was friendly, we went out to the patio, our drink orders were taken within 5 minutes, and brought out immediately. The mixed drinks were well made and tasted incredible. Our server was happy and attentive, she was always on top of whatever we needed. Our food was stellar- portions were awesome. My husband had the wings, they were done perfectly and spiced well. I had the wings/ribs and moose chips which were tasty and ribs were fall of the bone. Overall 10/10 experience and a MUST GO TO on your trip home from the cottage, campground or lake. We will be back 100% Cheers!”

“No word of a lie, this is literally the best gluten free bread I had ever ate. The white loaf was so similar to regular bread, it smelled and tasted almost exactly the same. It was so fluffy and chewy that I ate the entire loaf raw (unheard of for gf bread!). Magic. The entire bakery smells just like a traditional one and the owners are also very sweet. I would be here daily if I didn’t live 2 hours drive away.”

“I’ve lived here for almost 6 years and have never been to Big Daddy’s (mostly due to covid)- today was my first. Oh! The list was extensive! The service window is an excellent idea! They bring out the pieces of meat for you to chose. Very friendly service. Very good prices for an excellent cut of meat. I got Some chicken sausages, and a couple of ribeyes. Their ribeyes are probably 1/4-1/3 size bigger then any other meat counter. Thicker. Wonderful marbling. Very very tasty. 7 min on high w butter s and P. Tad bit of butter and a clove of my fresh garden garlic. Turned and the sear/crust was GD perfect. Another 6 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes. Woah. I’m hooked. Totally hooked. Can’t wait to try every single thing. Canadian meats. Love love love to support local.”

“We ordered from them last weekend when up with several families on a weekend getaway. The order process was quick and simple, and the food was FANTASTIC! The ribs were perfectly smoked and fallin' off the bone, brisket was tender, pulled pork to die for, succulent smoked wings.... they are the friendliest people, and easily accommodated our one person with an allergy. You can tell the crew there love what they do, and put that love and care into everything they prepare. It's a shame Huntsville is 3 hours away, we'd eat there more frequently.... :-)”

“Amazing find. We stopped here on the way to Algonquin park. The quality of the food is very high quality, and the biggest surprise was portion size, which are VERY generous. For such high quality food, we never thought we’d be getting so much food in our plates, and it was refreshing compared to what we are used to in Toronto. Food is very fresh and home made. This place is a gem, service was very friendly. I don’t often review places, but when a place is amazing, it needs to be highlighted. Oh and the price is very fair. Only good things! Keep it up, and you’ll keep your customers forever.”

“So we've finally got a cheese shop in Huntsville. All sorts of cheeses from all around the world. If you like them hard, or soft, or smoked, or strong, or mild, or blue the choice is yours. You'll get a sample of any just for expressing and interest, all displayed in a dairy case. However it's located beside the river next to the high school rather than downtown which makes it an out of the way destination. It also markets to the high school population. The kids buy french fries that are cooked quickly in two special fryers. Generous portions are served with gravy or cheese curds along with a soft drink. Which means the cheese shop smells like a chip shop - strongly. So the atmosphere and feel of the gourmet store is not cheese rather it's hot smelly cooking oil. All very strange and quite unique.”

“We were looking for something to try out. Saw the reviews were 5-star. We got the brisket, pulled pork sandwiches and fries. The sandwiches were so good. Brisket with crispy onion and some sort of sauce that goes really well together. The pulled pork was smoked for 12 hours. Fries was crispy. I would highly recommend trying this place out either before your hiking or canoe trip from Algonquin.”

“MBC Muskoka Bible Centre is a great vacation spot with a lot of activities and Bible programs for adults and kids. Breathtaking landscapes. We enjoyed the stay, the staffs were so helpful and kind. The food is good. We enjoyed the kayak and canoe rides. Their camping ground is so well organized and they have many varieties. I would love to go there every year in different seasons and enjoy the experience. I recommend this for families who want to have a great vacation time.”
