“This park is so nice to have a relaxing lunch just watching the geese and the seagulls play. I love to walk through here on nice days and in the fall as the leaves change color. Such a beautiful place. Kept clean.”

“Love, love this place! It's a private botanical garden with amazing (and huge) collection of peonies and conifers. I would never believe two people can create something that significant. When young, that what I was dreaming of doing, but never did. You really have to visit if Botanical curiosities is your thing. It is also a popular destination for weddings and wedding photography with their unique music fountains. You can bring your dogs if leashed. Also, important: they sell some unique cultivars of mainly conifers, maybe visit their website for the list.”

“I love visiting Long Point. I personally think the best time to enjoy this park is in the spring. Life is budding everywhere, the park is quiet, serene, the beaches seem to go on forever with barely a soul in sight. It is also incredibly beautiful in the fall. Of course if your looking for a summer beach, Long Point has that too. See you this spring Long Point.”

“Great work is being done here. As a tourist, best to go in the 6 hours after dawn to see the banding research being done. Friendly informative volunteers on hand. They run on donations and purchases from the small gift shop. Not too big. Boots a good idea. They even have binoculars to borrow.”

“Great spot for a trailer. Friendly campers that don't get too wild due to the no nonsense owner. Could use some activities for the kids but they seem to find their own fun.”

“I have always loved coming to the Sand Hill Park, and so do my kids. I find the bathrooms decent and they have showers near the front gates if you need. Animals near the front gate are always nice to see and admire. They have have plenty of activities to do just make sure you bring a basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, etc. On the weekends they have a tractor to take you to the beach and back again if your not the walking type. I would rate it a five out of five but the 1 concession stand and 1 variety store are a bit pricey and I have to admit I am a bit bias with my liking of this campground as I use to come here with my parents and siblings when I was little and always had a great time.”

“It was a good experience for Group camping. Privacy and natural beauty. Washroom are very few for bath. Natural toilet nearby. Nearby beach and boating experience very good. Be prepared for all natural bugs, mosquitoes and flies. It was a pleasure trip at all with good beautiful weather all long weekend.”

“Sites are big, it's fairly quiet however there is an outrageous amount of poison ivy. The staff are OK not overly welcoming and tend to ignore you while in the park. I haven't experienced that in the numerous provincial parks I've been to. Some are even quite rude. At the front though I found them to be welcoming and friendly. I didn't like that we had to use our car to get to water. I found that things were spaced out quite a bit (10 min walk to. Washroom 20 to garbage). The facilities are kept clean which is a huge plus for a campground. Showers are decent not adjustable for the kids but there are accessible washrooms which you would have to use for smaller kids.”
