“Ate in, ordered the chicken sandwich. The quality of the food is fair for the price. So is the service. The only reason I’m going with a 3* is because there was no salt and no ketchup. How is there no salt or ketchup at a restaurant? Pretty sure I could get salt and ketchup at a sushi restaurant, why not here? This place serves fries. How can you eat fries without ketchup!? The fries would have been fine if I had something to dip them in, but I didn’t. So they tasted dry. With each swallow they scraped their way down my throat. Thankfully I chased each bite with a swig of my Mountain Dew which seemed like the best part of the meal. Moreover, the fries were sprinkled with a few specks of garlic powder. Just enough to give it some taste, way too little to know if it was intentional. It was easier to assume the flavour was an accident than to believe someone actually believed they spiced them with such a scarce amount. Overall the meal was fine. I’d come back again. Only I’ll make sure to bring my salt and ketchup from home.”

“Honestly... I don't like writing bad reviews, but I have nothing to do today. When the marketing done says it's Texas Grill, you can have expectations to eat like in Texas but...surprise, I laughed with tears...Canadian Texas bar and grill...:)))with Mexican influence. Don't get me wrong, Mexican food is amazing but I don't even dare to try it after I had this experience. I ordered a brisket sandwich...it has nothing to do with Texas brisket plus it was chopped like chicken food. Juicy? you can forget about this characteristic, dry, very dry. Everyone knows that if you add spices, you give the food a taste, but in no case can it be called brisket. Preparing brisket is a skill and not everyone knows it. The waiter was nice, he knows what he's doing, but I waited a while to receive the food, I had the feeling that they went to buy the food from another restaurant...I don't even want to think what would have happened if I ordered something complicated. I ate because I was hungry...I hadn't eaten for more than 20 hours and time didn't allow me to make any other comments or refuse the food...at least the french fries and coleslaw tasted good like at Costco:))) The interior is nicely decorated, nothing to say...I laughed with the waiters and showed them what brisket means in Texas, It's embarrassing to pretend to be a Texan restaurant/bar grill, to be located in Canada and to offer only marketing... it's shameful”

“we heard about new item so choose to try them out - chop chesse sub : flavours on point juicy fresh chopped meat patty has really good flavours not bland at all 👍🏻 ( u can ask for more chessy goodness on top coz why not 😜) - lamb burger: this one surprise me cucumber tazaki was soo fresh taking burger to the next level *highly recomend - loaded chopped chesse fries : crispy fries ,meaty ,carmelize onion melted chesee chipotle sauce i mean what not .. definetly giving me in&out animal fries vibes (definetly going back for this kind of junk) 😅 hot honey burger : this was good in size crispy saucy but i find it lil sweet than hot ( i recomend them to make sauce more on spicy side with hint of sweetness ) sambusa / milk cake : its not fair if u dont get their sambusa n lotus milk cake they were big meaty the sauce has real spice . lotus milk cake was perfect ending for this service: excellent fast service , they were nice n kind enough to make those loaded fries as combo with burger making it half the price. everything was super fresh n hot. patio vibes are just giving us picnic feel .. highly recomend this family owned place.”

“WOW! I’m amazed by the impeccable service. My girlfriend and I just finished a full day of fishing. We were tired and hangry. We didn’t catch any fish either so we were pretty bummed out about that. I had the biggest smile the minute my friends over at upper deck chef express/NuCarib answered the phone to the last bite of my roti. Heck, I’m still smiling. I’m Guyanese and I always crave something that reminds me of home. These guys made my day! I’ll be back for more!”

“Our first time dining at Delicious – we came to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary, a few things to note: Pros - it’s a NICE place! -food was good -service was good Cons -we requested a corner booth for our reservation that was at 1845hrs. We arrived on time and we were told that our table was not ready but the occupants had paid and they were waiting for them to leave. The server offered to take us to another table to sit there and wait until our table was ready. Considering it is winter and we all had winter jackets on, it seemed silly to get comfortable at this new (smaller) table only to move again. Honestly, the least the restaurant could have done was offered us a complimentary cocktail/mocktail for the inconvenience. So we sat around awkwardly by the table (not booth – which we had specifically requested) that was supposed to be ours waiting for the occupants to leave – and they didn’t seem to be in any rush. It was only after we called another server over and ask if there was another table we could have when she asked us which table was supposed to be ours. The occupants at “our” table heard us tell the server (politely) that we were waiting for them to leave. That triggered them to leave. For a fine dining establishment I definitely feel they could have handled the situation better. Knowing a table was reserved for 1845hrs, they could have politely told the people (who had paid and finished) that they needed the table rather than have 6 people wait around awkwardly. All in all, we’re willing to give this place another shot and hopefully in addition to knowing how to take a reservation, they are able to implement it. The Con was not a deal breaker but it was moreso very irritating.”

“We were able to book a table same day for 6pm reservation. Service, right from the welcome at the door, was excellent (even though they were missing some staff). The menu is varied, offering something for everyone's taste, with excellent and tempting specials on top of the regular menu choices. We were happy with our selections, and already planning what to try on our next visit. Lovely, cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and quiet background music. Tables are close together, but as is the style in a European Bistro setting. Ours was a table for two, but there are other table arrangements for family or small group gatherings. “Good food, good service, ok decor. Tried the shawarma sandwich and was happy that the meat is mostly chicken breast. Also liked the fact that they toast the bread & chicken BEFORE they add the veggies. This way your veggies aren’t warm and soggy. Tried the spicy chicken that was recommended by the cashier, but I didn’t really taste any special flavour from the chicken. Mostly I tasted the garlic spread, and the turnips. It’s awkward to order because you have to pay first, but the menu is above the service counter. So you end up walking towards the service counter deciding what you want, then walk back to the cashier to place your order. It would make more sense to put the cashier after the service counter. The kids get a kick out of “The Garlic King Thrown” at the entrance. It’s a fun photo opportunity. I would recommend you try them out.”

“Had a very delicious dinner at Divisoria today! We got the pork lumpia Shanghai to start and it was so good! The lumpia was nice and crispy on the outside, but the pork filling was so moist and juicy. For the mains, we got the pork sisig, beef kare kare, and the garlic fried rice. All the dishes had great flavour and the meats were cooked really well. The touch of calamansi on the sisig really added to the taste. We finished off the meal with halo halo, which also tasted really good. Portions are very generous and for a good price too! The owner was also really sweet and welcoming, making for really good service. I have been wanting a Filipino restaurant to open up in the east end, and I’m so happy that Divisoria has opened up! Will return for sure!”

“Opened my mailbox today & saw their menu with the flyers. Saw the photos and couldn’t resist giving them a try again! My initial try was during their soft opening when it was a more limited menu, but now they have a full blown menu with lots of options. Everything I ordered tonight was on point, authentic, and tasted very good. We were impressed! I wish the pineapple fried rice was served in the pineapple shell (as advertised in the description), but it still tasted really good. Duck is made juicy and flavourful. Highly recommend!”

Yes their prices are a bit more than elsewhere, but you will understand why once you order. Worth every penny! Next order will be for the thin crust pizza. Ordered for the second time tonight and got the thin crust pizza. It did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. This is a real Ottawa gem now.”
