Chen’s Kitchen blew our expectations out of the water. It’s some of the freshest, tastiest and most delicious take out we’ve had. “5 stars for the milk cake. I was skeptical about the authenticity of all the sweets here but I was happily proven wrong. Has a variety of sweets all of which are great and as close to the Indian taste as you can get anywhere in Ottawa. The rest of the dishes are pretty good as well, but the sweets are just a cut above them all. Dine in is not preferred here as the owners themselves promote take-out. The atmosphere is that of a typical Indian shop which might feel foreign to people, but I felt it was great. Bring debit cards here because they don't accept credit cards as far as I know. Plus, it's located a bit too far from downtown/central Ottawa, so you'll save a lot of hassle by ordering from here via SkipTheDishes.”

Only downside to the spot is that it's so popular now it can get a little cramped for seating - not worth deducting anything off the review over. This is as fine of Italian food as you can get in the city without the pretentiousness of a place like Giovanni's.”
