“We stayed at Servus for 2 nights while in Stratford for a wedding, and absolutely loved it! I really enjoyed seeing the horses out in the pasture and learning about the history of the horse ranch from our host Toby. He made us feel right at home! The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, bed was soft (comfortable), shower temp was perfect, AC was adjustable, everything perfect :) Looking forward to staying again!”

“This was an excellent choice by my wife. We've been to the festival numerous times over the last fifteen years. I remember the plays but not where we stayed. This place I will remember with great fondness. The house is beautiful. Decorated with period pieces and mementos of our hosts careers in the entertainment business. The hosts were very warm and friendly and extremely helpful. Only recommendation I have is to pack a pair of indoor slippers. You check your outdoor shoes on large mat just inside the door.”

“We have stayed at the Grand Trunk Guest House and Gallery during our four Stratford visits in 2022 and 2023. GTGH&G is located in a stately, quiet neighborhood; walking distance to theaters, downtown shops and dining, as well as a nature trail. The stocked and convenient kitchen, the cozy living room, the beautiful bathrooms featuring spa-quality amenities (both with showers, one of which a tub/shower), the bedrooms with bamboo linens all combine to make our stays restful vacations. Our hosts Marilyn and Daryll are thorough and timely with all communication, and graciously helpful with suggestions that make everything in Stratford accessible. We highly recommend GTGH&G!”

“We first stayed at Around the Corner in August 2010 and are heading there in August of 2013 now that we are able to travel again. Prior to that we knew the proprietor for several years when she worked at Avery House. She is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Stratford and the Theatre Festival are our favorite destinations and Around the Corner has become our favorite spot. After several years in staying in four different hotels and two other B&Bs, we favor Around the Corner. It is convenient to other theaters and close to downtown - we can walk to most places. Off street parking is included; so is breakfast - always just what we want. It is quiet, private, comfortable, and spacious. The owner knows the town, theatre, and restaurants besides what is going on in Stratford. Her hospitality abounds. It's a treat!”

“The Limelight B & B is definitely the place to stay in Stratford! Ange and Gary made everything so comfortable and pleasant for my mom, sister and me. All of our rooms were well appointed and cozy. It felt like luxury but also like home. The breakfast/coffee was fresh and delicious. The location allowed us to walk to the town and venues and really get a sense of the beauty of the place. All in all very memorable.”

“The stay at The Chisholms was a delight. After chaperoning 30 students from 1978-2001, it was nice to be pampered by Heather's scrumptious breakfasts, a truly Victorian room with a king sized bed, and a location equidistant from the Festival, Patterson, and Avon theatres. Conversations with playgoers from all over was an added plus. We will be back.”

“My husband and I spent a night at Mike and Jen’s guest house. They have a beautiful, beautiful, home! We loved the design, functionality, and size of the space. They are also very warm that you almost feel like you’re with family. They provided great restaurant recommendations prior to our visit and we were able to reserve our tables accordingly. This was a great weekend away from the city to eat some good food, watch some theatre, and come home to a nice bed and delicious breakfast in the morning. Thanks again, Mike and Jen!”

“This cozy Victorian guest home is hosted by Andrew and Biru who are very friendly, humble and welcoming. Our bed is comfortable, the room is clean, bright and spacious. A mini kitchen is on the second floor which is convenient, wifi is included, parking, continental breakfast and the famous Fujian oolong tea, which happens to be my favs. This location is about a 10-15 min scenic walk to all the theaters. There are century old heritage houses, stately trees along the streets, the Avon River, ducks, gardens, and elegant Swans when it's the season. Looking forward to stay here again on my next Stratford visit and I highly recommend it.”

“Was eating a hot dog across the street and saw a homeless looking dude walking up and down the street in front of the motel pointing finger guns at cars a they drove by. The owner accepts crack as payment for rooms, which the patrons are more than happy to provide. The courtyard is also beautifully adorned by shopping cars full of beer cans and a pile of discarded children's bicycles with adult seats.”

“This bed and Breakfast is a great place to stay while visiting the Stratford. The owner, Maria Adans, serves a generous full breakfast each day. The rooms are well kr2pt and the prices the most reasonable in Syratfore. Also it is centrally located. Walking distance from Tom Parterson and Festival Theatre I wish to add this B& B is wheelchair accessible with a lift at the back and stair lift to 2nd floor.”

“Kim is the quintessential hostess. Grandville Manor is elegant yet comfortable. I can't recommend it highly enough. I've returned here many times with both family and friends while attending the festival roughly a dozen times. I just realized - I've stayed in every room. The suite - sleeping on the pullout couch (my parents were in the main room). The single, both doubles and the double with two twin beds. All rooms are cozy and comfy. Many wonderful memories in this house.”

“This beautifully decorated B&B is centrally located and the Host Scott is just absolutely charming! The rooms are decorated lovely. I especially like the room on the top floor. The breakfast is home cooked and very delicious! My wife and I have made this place our number one place to stay in Stratford. Thank you Scott for making us feel at home each time we visit. T&D.”

“AMAZING location! AMAZING rooms! AMAZING owners! AMAZING experience. We will be back. The Caledonia House is truly terrific. The owners are lovely and warm and welcoming. The coffee was always hot and they have a spectacular selection of tea and lovely mugs. The main floor room is very accessible and the bathrooms are quite large. The beds were so comfortable and even though it was cold and rainy outside, the rooms were warm and quiet. I will be staying here again!”

“We knew this trip was off to an excellent start when Molly, our hostess, greeted us as we stepped out of the car. She made us feel so welcome and even though we had interrupted their dinner we were their first priority. The accommodation was very cozy and comfortable with multiple rooms to relax in and wonderful front and back porches to enjoy. David, our host, served us breakfasts that were nothing short of gourmet quality! Molly gave excellent suggestions for places to visit and to dine. We are already planning our next visit to them again in May 2020! Many thanks!”

“We had a wonderful time. Great location and a stone's throw from all the great attractions. Theresa was a wonderful host and a fountain of knowledge regarding Stratford and food. The house is clean and comforting. The food was top notch. We will definitely return. All our needs were accommodated and there is a menu for all walks of life from carnivores to vegans.”

“I am not usually at a loss for words but I am searching now to describe the exquisite B&B I recently visited for two nights. Shelly was gracious - the decor was perfect - the location excellent - the breakfast was delicious and well served. Oh, I forgot immaculate. The Monarch butterfly lesson was even more special.”

“So far excellent, the breakfast was great good variety of food. I don't think we need lunch. The building was an old store so very different atmosphere than your average B&B with very large bedrooms. The hosts are lovely people who went out if their way to welcome us and make our stay very enjoyable. An added bonus is its location within a 15 minute walk to the theatres and restaurants.”

“One of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. We have stayed here for the past 5 years for all our trips to Stratford. Of all the guests we have talked to this is the only place they have stayed when they attend the festival. Breakfasts are wonderful and plentiful. It is within walking distance to all of the theatres and to the downtown core you just need to park your car and leave it until you are ready to go home. Aurelia anf Francis are two very lovely hosts. Highly recommend Cottage on Brunswick. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED”
