“We came here for 2 nights. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. We had the king room, the bed was very comfortable, showers were big. Also we loved how modern and edgy it looked. There’s also a fire place where all the chairs are safely social distanced from each other. Behind the building there’s an amazing brewery with the best oven pizza. Definitely would recommend staying here!”

“Clean, friendly, great location and delicious breakfast - highly recommend! We stayed with Roger at Augustus House for 3 nights, and had an amazing time. Roger was incredibly knowledgeable and totally accommodating for me and my family. Breakfast was prepared every morning and was fresh and delicious. As well, extra precautions were taking to increase safety during COVID-19 which was definitely appreciated. The building is blend of traditional and modern, with interesting and unique art and design elements throughout. The rooms were clean and modern and looked brand new! The private side patio was an amazing place to have dinner, with greenery, string lights and a large table able to seat the whole family. The location was perfect for us! Restaurants, bars, patios, parks, shops and the lake were just a walk around the corner. And with easy access to parking, we could drive to Sandbanks in about 15-20min. Thanks so much Roger, we truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to be back!”

“I recently spent a few nights at The Lakeside Motel and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a hotel ever!! I love that it is dog friendly because I love bringing my dog with me. All of the staff we encountered were amazing, friendly, welcoming, and very professional. I would highly recommend! They have regular modern, clean, spacious, and clean motel rooms, and glamping tents too! The best feature is the gorgeous deck overlooking the lake where you can relax any time of day. It’s just a short drive from Sandbanks park. I’ll definitely be returning again.”

“Wellington Willows is every BnB lovers dream come true. Beyond the exterior asethethics, (i.e. two beautiful Willow trees out front, spacious and spotless interior, bright colours and big windows, homey feel and a brilliant amalgamation between vintage and new concepts) what truly makes the Wellington Willows unique and perfect is David, Esther and Bella. Esther and Dave's gourmet breakfasts can't be beat, their warmth and hospitality, great chats, and oh their beautiful dog Bella's company. Not much more to say other than we shall be back to share many more memories.”

“What an excellent place to stay. Everything was great - we were in one of the suites. It was huge; great bed; and amazing bath tub. Kathleen was so easy to communicate with and we had a great stay in Wellington. There is so much to do within a 20 min drive (and even a short walk from the suite). We will definitely be back.”

“SLOW, UNINSPIRED SERVICE - but good food. Four (plus one) of us were looking forward to enjoy a nice dinner at the Drake Devonshire. The waitress did not seem to have a good day. We told her we are here for a good time and brought our DD. It took her long time to come back after we got seated to ask for our starting drink or cocktail. When we ordered our appetizers and main course, one of us ordered a side-dish with some minor changes and that got screwed up. She waitress did not even attend to this mistake - we had to ask another waiter. (Note: everyone else in our group did order from the menu without any further extra wishes.) After I finished my G&T I ordered a bottle of Rose wine. It took more than 12 minutes to arrive at our table. I saw the bottle in an ice-bucket on the bar counter for more than 10 minutes without her bringing it to us. If she would have been more attentive - we probably would have ordered at least another bottle. Her loss of an extra tip. The food was good.”

“My family and I spent a couple nights at Brighthouse Farm. The character of this house is very unique. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in. It is a very welcoming space and the attention to detail was extra special. They have everything you could possibly need to host an event on the farm. We barely left unless it was to enjoy the outdoor space, which was breath taking. Everyone left feeling so lucky to have experienced such a serene, peaceful place. We look forward to going back.”

“A great stay! We brought bananas with us and our host volunteered to turn them into banana bread. It was fantastic! Great private beach section to sit by a fire and have a glass of wine. Very romantic setting. Would stay again. Excellent location and the hot breakfast was a real treat every morning! (The ricotta pancakes were to die for!)”
