“Our experience has been very good. My 5yo looks forward to every class and to meet Coach Mike. since he joined the lessons, his focus has improved drastically and is a very happy little tennis enthusiast. Coach Mike is very patient in teaching them skills and takes the time to ensure each one of the kids have heard and understood the instructions before going ahead and playing. The coach keeps them busy and occupied with switching activities every 10-15 min which is the max you could get the kids this age to focus. The facility is very clean. We’re very happy and are looking forward to the spring-summer classes :)”

“I Love my St.Gertrude's family, loving, inviting, Faith filled, hard working, loyal and best of all real people doing their best to meet the challenges of these times. May God Bless you all. Particularly Father Paul, who may be the youngest of the many wonderful servents of God who I have been blessed to call my Father serving this parish. He like all the Priest's I know and love, is holy, loving, welcoming, funny and not too wordy in his homilies, he always leaves you wanting more. Thank you Lord for St. Gertrude's Parish.”

“I went here from Grades 1-3 & it was quite an experience. The School both in & out looked never lost it's 1920s charm. I found it so amusing that Gym class was always at Conant school because the Gym's ceiling was only 7 feet off the ground. ”

“My experience here was decent but nothing note worthy. There are some teachers here that were good and others that were quite the opposite. It's a great school for those with mental disabilities but other than that it's about average. They also have too many portable classrooms consuming yard space.”

“I went to Dr C F Cannon back in 1966. School was on Emerald back then. That was a different era. If you got in a fight, both students were called into office. Teachers aren't blind, they know which students are trouble makers. We had bullies then, kids got teased, and we all managed to grow up and be successful. This was back when the school only had kindergarten to grade 6. Back then they did it right. The maturity difference between grade 6 and 7 is too great to allow them to mix. You are going to get stuff brought into schools where the majority of students are too innocent.”
