“This was my second or third visit to this store and impression is the same: not so great variety of goods, especially in the furniture, sports and video games. This time I was also negatively surprised with the kids garment prices, there was no single adidas short sleeve top under $7.5 (plus taxes). So, I spent only $10 today, when I visit the stores with 5 stars I usually spend between $50 and $100+”

“During the pandemic, my friend bought books online as gifts, and occasionally got acquainted with this store. Even though I was unable to enter the store and only contacted online, I can feel that this is where the treasure is.”

“I've bought most of my comics from here, and continue to, to this day. It's really the experience, bright lighting and nice staff. Both of whom I have come to know as just good people. I find it's also welcoming to friends of mine who aren't just white dudes, which I found to be a common issue and uncomfortable at other place. If you're trying to intro someone into the comics world, but worry about people who don't be cool, this is really the best place to go.”

“Helpful staff with a great attitude. My son was looking for a particular book he has wanted for a while and while we were perusing the lady came over and he blurted the name of the book out. She walked us straight to the location of the book and all its siblings in the series. It's always great to find what you're looking for and to do it so quickly is fantastic.”

“Came here to buy some cheap used books but this store is more than that. Very beautifully designed from inside. Creative and thought provoking quotes on the wall will catch the eyes. Did you know it takes 1800 gallons of water to make one pair of jeans. Suprised. Right? Do recycle your clothes. When you donate your clothes here you get 20% discount. Store is huge. You can get anything from a piano to books. Huge parking lot. Clothes donation centre is here as well which has a 5 min parking of it's own. Happy shopping. Thanks”

“It is always nice to go to the Value Village regardless of the location. This location is nice and open. You have to go there often to find good deals. I usually go there for the books. You can pick up a book for the fraction of the list price and in good condition. There are clothes, electronics and other household items. You donate things that you do not need which helps creating jobs and also someone can use your stuff.”

“I've been fortunate to visit Toyratt each of the last two years and I've thoroughly enjoyed each visit. You will be a little apprehensive walking in initially, but once you take the plunge...you'll feel right at home. The ridiculous vast selection of everything you love is all in one spot. Records, retro video games with everything from Atari and Odyssey through PS4 and Xbox One, VHS, stereo systems, gaming paraphernalia, etc. When I say, everything....I mean....everything. Just an amazing selection and a very knowledgeable proprietor that I honestly feel has played everything in the store. Both times that I've gone, I feel like I'm walking through his personal collection that he's more than happy to share it with you. You will get a fair deal as he knows what his stuff is worth / goes for. This is not a garage sale, he's not there throwing stuff away or selling "old junk" just to get rid of it. It's a business but he's really nice guy with an amazing store and super selection. If you're a fan of retro gaming in any fashion, you'd be foolish not to stop!”
