“We had a wonderful time at the Balmoral! The food was fantastic and the staff was so accommodating and kind. We had the duck poutine, honey garlic chicken wings, wild game burger, and bison ribeye. The poutine was one of the best we have EVER had. The steak was cooked perfectly and had the most wonderful mushroom sauce. Even the salads were fantastic! We absolutely recommend coming here.”

“Thank you Salut Outdoor Bistro at Pine Cliff Resort! What an incredible culinary experience! If you’re in the area this is “farm to table” cuisine with a dish for everyone in the family! Our kids enjoyed the gourmet mac and cheese, and poutine! The chef makes his own fries! The Bistro has so many games to play while we waited. Even the adults got in on a quick game of corn hole. Our food was ready before we could finish the game! The chicken wings were amazing, and the hamburgers are picture perfect and tasty! My favourite was the chicken quesadillas served with the Parmesan sauce. We love this place!”

“Was just passing through on way home from visiting family, went through drive through to grab a coffee, they were very fast and line moved quickly, was greeted by a very customer friendly lady named Reygan, or Raygan, (according to her name tag) would definitely go there again if it weren't so far away. The location was easy to access, clean and looks like they take pride in their place. If you need a good cafe for the road this is the place to go.”

“We recently stopped here for a late lunch with my family, including my five year old daughter, and everyone loved their meals! I had a platter that included a perogi, sausage and salad, and it was all very good. Service was fast and attentive as well, and it was nice that they had a kids menu. The pricing was reasonable for the large portion sizes. The homemade deserts were very tasty, especially the cheese cake. Thank you for a great meal!”

“I am very impressed with the Ash Grove Inn! Booking a room over the phone took about 5 minutes. The person on the phone was very professional and answered all my questions. When I arrived an hour before check - in my room was ready. I was a Room Attendant in Toronto and have high standards regarding cleanliness. I was impressed. The bathroom was very clean, heater worked well and not too loud ,as some can be, the beds were soo comfortable. The restaurant attached also exceeded my expectations. I called the front desk to order pick up as the seating area looked busy. A nice quiet meal in my room after a long day was better for me anyways. I ordered the Pineapple Chicken and received a call in my room 20 min later it was ready for pick up. Well...I don't even know what to say, but it was delicious!! The chicken breasts were big but man were they juicy and flavourful!!! Mash potatoes had great flavor to them and the vegetables were a bit hard but not too hard. I like that better because you know the nutrients haven't been boiled out of them. Next was desert, I LOVE chocolate cake! And so I ordered a slice. It was so big, moist, and as full as I was from my big dinner, I had to finish it!! Just came back from breakfast, and again, the food was great! The waitress is always attentive, you will never have an empty coffee cup. My bacon was perfect, eggs done the way I like them, hash browns are delicious, non greasy. The Ash Grove Inn certainly does not need this review, their reputation in this town is of excellent service, fabulous food and friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the Ash Grove Inn for overnight stays or just a meal along your journey. Stay safe and Enjoy!!”

“Wow!! What an amazing pizza. Ordered 3 different pizzas and all were cooked to perfection. The crust was perfect and the ingredients were fresh, crisp and complemented the pizza in every way. “This place is a real finding! Must visit for sure if you're looking where to get your stomach full! Lots of options to eat like sandwiches, true beef 🍖 burgers, salads and some other dishes. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Washroom was clean. Pet-friendly if you sit outside. They have patio which is pretty but noisy because it's located few meters from the road. Although it's separated by wood fence. The portions are absolutely astonishing. One bowl 🥣 of salad 🥗 is enough for 2 people. Just look at these photos. Same with burgers and sandwiches because they're served with salads and lots of meat. I wish they never change it! They also offer their own blend of dark roast coffee ☕. No espresso bar, which is hard to find among other local spots. All in all probably the best place in radius of 15-20 KMs. Try to visit it and you won't regret!”

“What an amazing spot. It's like being in Florida, but without the crocodiles and the politics! The small menu is well prepared and to be able to eat and drink right on a beach is a total treat. Staff is helpful and the location can't be beat. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars from me is the menu. A couple of fish options and a couple more vegetarian options would be good.”
