“I met Iryna through a Kijiji ad when we were looking for a new pet bird. I was excited to see she had Quaker parrots ready to find their forever homes and reached out to her right away. Iryna was quick to respond, very personable and super helpful with our decision. Iryna was ready to provide all the information we needed to make sure we were properly educated and informed on the new addition to our home. We ended up getting a double factor cobalt Quaker from her. A sweet boy that was clearly used to being around and handled by humans. We’ve had Fozzie for almost a year and he’s growing up to be a bird with an amazing character, loving, super chatty, healthy and quick to learn. Iryna was very professional and personable and clearly has a love for parrots and pets. Fozzie came with everything she promised in her ad and even since the purchase, Iryna has always been a text away to answer any questions we have. (We even bought a used bird cage from her which was in excellent condition and a great deal vs buying new) Iryna is a breeder you can trust!”

“CALLING ALL PET OWNERS! I stopped into Ark Of Bark because my dog is finishing up a food trial for some skin issues and we will be moving back to regular food. I buy from big chains usually but I really want to support more local. Moira was extremely knowledgeable and attentive as we talked about my dog’s ongoing health issues and possible foods and supplements to try when my vet gives the go ahead. I am extremely particular when it comes to my dog and I’ve done a lot of research. Moira took the words right out of my mouth with her suggestions and reinforced my gut feelings on ways to proceed. She has a rescue senior my dogs age too! The selection is huge, the prices are reasonable, she gave me some samples and answered all my questions. I’m so impressed with this store and will be a regular going forward! I feel completely confident buying from this store. They carry quality lines/brands! Don’t walk, run to this shop!!!!!!!”

“A wonderful store with a very wide and affordable selection of reptiles, food, and supplies. The crested gecko we recently bought from them was guaranteed healthy and eating before we purchased it. “Big Al's is a fixture in KW. They have been around for over 30 years. They have a huge selection of fish and reptiles, plus everything you need to keep your pets happy and healthy. The store is well laid out, and very clean for this type of shop. The animals look healthy and happy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the different animals. Purchasing fish, a complete aquarium setup, or a Bearded Dragon, is a satisfying experience. They will not steer you wrong.”
