“Had a fantastic time fishing this morning. Captain James and First Mate Peter were helpful and knowledgeable. We caught many mackerel and cod. Highly recommend this company!!!”

“Amazing experience with Father and Son team Pat and Chase. We chose the later afternoon spot and treated to the sunset. Lots of Mackerel and Cod was caught. Very attentive service to make sure all passengers were set up and quick to attend when fish on ! Great with kids…made sure they were catching! Crew cleaned and filet so everyone left more than enough fish to enjoy.”

“Really nice open beach - there's parking right near by, with maybe a max 5min walk to the coast. You can walk up and down almost indefinitely.”

“We can't think of anything we didn't love! Just one suggestion: a grab bar in the shower for extra stability for those with mobility issues. Loved everything! And the owner is sooooo wonderful! Close to everything. Awesome!”

“First time to PEI in years! Was having a hard time trying to find the “perfect” location for a blend of beach and exploring for our Atlantic Bubble vacation. Came across these cottages at the last minute and boy what a gem of a find! Just a 5 minute walk to the beach, a multi-use trail that connects to the a National Park literally across the street and amazing sea food within a 10 minute walk. The cottages were renovated within the last 5-6 years, were very clean & comfortable. Attention paid to the smallest detail for decor, making it a sweet home away from home! Will definitely stay again!”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cottage, and I can't say enough about the wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warmest hospitality by the host, which set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The location is simply perfect, nestled in the heart of nature yet conveniently close to all the attractions. The tranquility of the surroundings was a breath of fresh air, and I enjoyed taking leisurely walks through the picturesque landscape. Rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, making it a cozy home away from home. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. In summary, this cottage is a hidden gem that I can't recommend enough. Super clean rooms, the best host service, and an idyllic location make it the perfect choice for a relaxing or adventurous getaway. I can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this serene oasis.”

“This cottage resort is in a perfect location for sightseeing as well as a short walk to an excellent beach. The cottages were very clean and the whole place is well kept. The bed was comfortable and the towels were soft and fluffy. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Other vacationers were respectful of noise and we are having a great time. I would recommend this place. Great value.”

“Absolutely perfect location! Walking distance to beach and central to everything else on the island. Rustic for sure, but clean and lots of upgrades clearly being done/just completed including the addition of new decks so we could eat outside and AC units which was very welcome after long hot beach days! Bill was super responsive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, including finding a soccer ball for the kids to kick around. Amazing vacation. Thanks Bill!”

“My husband and I absolutely LOVE Goodview cottages, we stay here every year when we visit PEI. The cottages are the most well appointed, beautifully decorated and so cozy. We could not ask for a better location, close to the beaches and all of the places we love to visit during our summer vacations. I would 10000% recommend this place to anyone seeking a beautiful cottage, with awesome owners to top it all off. We will be staying there again and again. HUGE thanks again to Suzanne and Lester for making our stays so memorable.”

“This place was great. Nice cottage with everything you'd need. The owners were very nice and even left us a gift because we were getting married the next day. Will absolutely be back. When staying on the island and want to be moments from the most amazing beach's stay here.”

“Nice, clean and quiet place to stay in a great location! I was there with my 2 pre-teens. I was disappointed that there was only one double & one single bed in their 2 bedroom cottage ( & the owners couldn't confirm the bed sizes upon booking). It was tight sleeping in a double with my child, so how could 2 adults sleep there? They also boast a full kitchen but don't supply a baking sheet that actually fits in the oven. Basic needs like salt/pepper and cooking oil we're not available, which are difficult items to purchase in small quantities. Lastly, they are inflexible with their booking dates; ie:. Saturday to Saturday. It would be more convenient to book a minimum stay of 3 nights instead like other cottages in the area. Overall, we were satisfied and the owners were responsive to our needs, like supplying additional blankets. For families with kids, there weren't any kid friendly things to do on the property.”

“If you are used to other National Park campgrounds in Canada or the states this might be a shock for you. First, the good - showers are very good. Ample room for dishes and covered areas when it rains. Very nice staff. The bad - it is SO crowded with other campers right on top of you. Gets a bit noisy and the recent storms have made it a pretty ugly spot. Do not expect too much.”

“We stayed for a week at Lyons Cottages and it was spectacular! The cottage was very clean and comfortable, the grounds immaculate and staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect little cottages in a great location. Oh, forgot to mention - best wifi we’ve ever had on the island, and they have charging stations for electric vehicles!”

“Between 4-5 stars. Overall this is a great cottage. It’s well stocked, very kid friendly, with a lovely view. Definitely one of the nicest places our family has stayed. A few picky things: the deck furniture is bolted to the deck in front of the windows, so the windows don’t open properly, my husband found the master bed uncomfortable, and although overall it was quite clean a few things were missed (lots of pet fur in the rug, moldy coffee grounds in the coffee pot). It might have been nice to have some extra sheets to change the beds, and we needed to buy a few small staples like oil and sugar - but almost everything we needed was there otherwise. The worst part of this place was actually paying for it. Ken is very friendly and accessible…. But only accepts e-transfers. Credit cards give some consumer protection, and when you’re used to that it can be a bit nerve wracking to instead just send a large sum of money to an email address. Ken didn’t give me a receipt, either…. So I requested one, and requested again, and again, until finally, *6 weeks* after I paid the deposit he sent me a receipt. Then, when it was time to pay the remaining balance, I sent Ken a text telling him it was coming and telling him the password for the etransfer. Again no receipt, but he replied ‘thanks’. When we got to the island, Ken called my husband and told him the balance was still unpaid and asked him to send it (again)! Quickly sorted out, he ‘found’ the record a few minutes later. So it was fine in the end, just uncomfortable from my perspective.”

“Beautiful location. Near the water, a beautiful bike/walking path, golf course, etc. Affordable. The host communicates quickly with guests, but response time for issues was not always super quick (we needed more towels after wiping up a leak in the bathroom, but since it was after hours it had to wait until the middle of the next morning). The cottage itself was clean, but in need of maintenance/repairs. Some deck boards were rotting and soft/unstable. Chipped and peeling paint. Most importantly, there were plumbing issues in the bathroom which caused quite a lot of mold to form on the baseboards and in the linen closet. For this reason, we probably will not return. PS: Be sure to ask for sheets/blankets for the sofa bed. There was no extra bedding in the cottage.”

“Great little cottage(sleeps 6 comfortably)! Quiet area, only 15 minutes from C'town, close to Brackley Beach, Dalvay by the Sea and the Covegead lighthouse and wharf(Richard's Seafood). Hosts are great, communication was awesome, we will be back!”

“We had three generations of our family stay for a week, Michele and Dave couldn't have been more gracious and helpful. Our two year old granddaughter loved being able to go to the beach everyday, (which is actually more picturesque than the pictures, if that is possible !) and play on the newly erected playground. The cottages were very comfortable with everything that one needs. There was lots to do with everything just a short jaunt away, including the capital Charlottetown. A well deserved 5 star review from us ! p.s. when you are there be sure to check out Fin Folk Food, the fish and chips and fish tacos are excellent !”

“I don't like sand. It's coarse, and rough, and irritating, and it gets everywhere, and this beach is full it!!!!! Other than that the water is really warm here in the summer, which is great to wash off the sand. Jokes aside, the beach got hit pretty hard by huricane Fiona. The old beach access is gone, it's been replaced with new stairs which are in good condition. But there's no ramp access if you need it. The old car park on the beach side is gone, so parking has been reduced at the beach.”
