The garden is full of birds. Early risers will be rewarded. Early June, little happening on the lake but the garden was rich in bird life. The tower is being relocated. Bring mosquito repellent.”

Last Mountain Regional Park

Address: Govan, SK S0G 1Z0, Canada

Park Point of interest Establishment

“You wanna talk long! Yeah like 93km long! Great boating location for summer fun on the wakeboard or tube. Just be wary as it is a wide open lake so any wind can cause white caps. And due to it being more of a southern lake as summer goes along it can get quite green. Though it is also a fun lake for ice fishing in the winter time. Take the hockey sticks and skates and play a little shinny while you wait for the tip ups to trigger!”

Our two kids played all evening with the owners’ four (lovely and well-behaved) kids, and had a great time. Beautiful view of sunset and sunrise from our campsite. In addition, the campground is clean and well maintained. Sites are well sized and private. Excellent value and a lovely place to stay. Thanks to Dawn for her hospitality.”

“Thanks so much for opening this space to the public. I had so much fun exploring the trails and eating at the winery. (They even have pizza and cheesecake!) There’s hot showers at the front and with the teepees and yurts there’s all the comforts and amenities of home. The many hiking trails have a lot to offer, I even found a stream that spills into the Saskatchewan river. Napping in the hammocks next to the badminton net was the highlight of my day. There’s even a few play areas for the kids. Thanks again, I’m already looking forward to my next stay!”
