“We visited the farm yesterday. The owners and staff are wonderful! Our kids had so much fun feeding and petting all the animals. The park is great for them to play on while they ate our picnic lunch we packed. Prices are reasonable and affordable for families! We will be back again. Very much worth the drive out!! Thank you!”

“Very good experience! A nice place to spend with kids or anyone visiting London, ON. Animals very well taking care off. Kids can lean a lot about reptile. Also a nice kids play ground. Very cool, nice and clean place to visit. Time needed 2-3 hours. Also $19 per adult I think it’s a very affordable for what they offer! Posted pictures are more to show the exhibit…”

“We we’re curious at first, but the experience is really fun and educational! The host are super friendly and welcoming. She explained us everything about Ostriches and we we’re able to see and feed those big birds. The Ostrich walk is well documented and the birds curious! Can’t wait to taste the meat we bought!😋 Definitely a must while in Prince Edward County!”

“Such an amazing place! The train ride is a unique experience, absolutely a must. There are many animals to see in all other areas. The zoo is also an opportunity to see the striking and severe boreal forest up close. I also really appreciated the kids area with the water games and mini farm - it's a great place to have a picnic or an ice cream. There are also picnic tables (some with roofs) throughout the zoo, so it's easy to take a break. Overall, a must see in Lac Saint-Jean area.”

“It was a wonderful zoo ! There was such a wide variety of animals, and they all looked happy ! There was so much more energy with the animals than I've seen in most zoos”

“What a fantastic treasure of a place. My wife and I were looking for something to pass the time until we were ready to head home on the ferry. We drove here about 30 minutes away from where we were staying with some tired kids; we were so impressed with this place! The proprietor was incredibly friendly, took time to speak with us all at the end of our self guided tour and made sure to tell us all about the animals and answer any questions we had. The experience feeding and interacting with the animals was awesome too, really brings you closer to nature and lets you slow down. The admission costs were more than fair and cost for feed was amazing so both kids had lots to pass around! Thank you for an awesome experience”

“This trip we were able to see the buffalo! Sometimes they are in different areas where you can't see them. They were noble, ancient-seeming and majestic! It's wonderful that the monks care for them.”

“I can't recommend this place enough! My sister and I went, and even as just 2 adults we had so much fun!! They have written instructions with how to interact with the animals, what to feed them, and what cool things to look for, plus a bag of snacks to feed them! They had all the animals I had hoped a petting zoo would have, plus more. I forget his name, but the farmer/owner was the sweetest host and practically gave us a personal tour. Would highly recommend to adults, kids, families, date night, birthdays, anything 🥰”

“So happy with this place! My Rottie had the time of his life. It’s clean and there’s lots of fun things for the dogs to do! He’s not great with other dogs so it was really nice to be able to take him out to a private park! We will definitely be back 😊”

“Newly renovated and finally open!! Although a fun way to spend an afternoon I have to say it hasn't changed that much from the last time I was there. Although the Penguins are always a crowd favorite and the tropical section is fun, they have Monkeys and Capybarras!!! the overall experience felt a little too fabricated. Fun as a one time visit but hard in my opinion to get repeat visitors. Although hard with little one it really pays to take your time and really look around, the animals are often not out in the open. Overall a pleasant experience.”

“My son spent a few days here doing camps over spring break and he absolutely loved it!!! He's a very anxious kiddo and this is literally the only camp he's ever been to that he didn't cry at drop-off and couldn't wait to go back. He got to see, learn about and interact with so many cool animals! He usually never tells me anything about his days at school, but he spent the entire drive home from this camp everyday telling me all of the interesting facts he learned. If your kid is an animal lover, I can't recommend these camps enough. They really are something special!”

“Great spot, my only complaint was that the place seemed a little too cozy. As I was engaged in a furious match of ball-whacking, paddle-flashing ping pong, I kept bumping into things. On various occasions I tripped over stylish throw cushions, acoustic guitars, and coffee-making paraphernalia. The shower was also distracting depending on which side of the table I was playing.”

“Great way to spend a day with the family. The place was very clean and well-kept. They had lions, leopards, all kinds of different monkeys, and various other animals. And, it's not expensive at all. I recommend spending a morning or afternoon at the Oaklawn Zoo, you can plan to get through it in 1-2 hours if you keep walking on the path, or 3-4 hours if you stop to read all or some of the displays and fun-fact boards. Go to the zoo and then go for lunch or diner at the zoo, or, if you need a change of venue, go to the Farmer's Family Diner just down the road - the food is awesome there.”

“What a lovely petting animal farm! The family that runs it is super friendly and kind. My 13 month old enjoyed it, as well as the rest of our family. Cows, goats, chickens, bunnies, horses, ducks (was there any other animals I missed?). This place is a gem.”
