“I have been attending for the last 8 months. I attend on my own but also take part in a group fitness class on Thursday’s with Chelsea. I love the group class, Chelsea puts so much thought into each weeks class to work all different mussel groups. She pushes you to challenge yourself and do your personal best. Chelsea gets super creative by incorporating games into our classes for special occasions. Those have been great! Overall I really appreciate that Chelsea is available for questions if needed. Overall it’s been an amazing experience as before I was not attending a gym and was hesitant to get started but I am happy I joined and adding a group class has made working out that much better.”

“I have two kids ages(10 and 5) attending the Karate classes. This plays an important role in building their self confidence and strength. With the current pandemic and closure of the facilities, the training continued via online karate lessons with the same quality of teaching and guidance. Practicing has now become part of the daily routine at home . Custom videos are made by the instructor for each of my kids on almost weekly basis. The progress is clear. My elder got a promotion and the young one may be on his way. This has been a positive experience during this challenging time.”

“This is a very well-equipped fitness centre for its size. You can do all the essential exercises for strength training and body building, as well as having many cardio machines of different types, like rowing, elliptical, stationary bikes, and treadmills. Plenty of core and stretching equipment and space. There is also some rehabilitation equipment on site as well. The memberships are flexible, yearly, monthly, or a pass, and the memberships are very reasonably priced, much better than the larger gym chains. Access includes the use of a very large indoor track, as well as a locker room with showers and towel service (extra cost for the towel service). Worth a visit if you are curious and worth a membership if you are serious, the staff is friendly and so are the patrons.”

“Fantastic place to get in shape and learn how to defend yourself. Been to many other gyms across the city over the years. None have the same customer service, accessibility, and coaching like UFC Gym North Edmonton. All coaches for the martial arts classes have fight records that you can google. Most are or were professional fighters. Downside is some have left due to the moratorium on fight events in Edmonton. However, the ones left are exceptional and will make you feel comfortable regardless of skill level. Pet peeve about other traditional gyms in the city is typically the owner/operator is also teaching classes. Therefore, there is a due process to prove yourself in order to learn certain techniques. Also, it can get ackward because he/she is also in charge of your membership. While, at UFC gym, the system is great because no matter which class I go to; I get the same or better level of training. Regardless if I was there 1 week ago or 3 weeks ago. No questions asked. tldr: Accessible, great customer service, professional, and big facility.”

The admin staff are very friendly and approachable and clearly love what they do.
