“Just an all round beautiful place. Pretty secluded sites with tall trees . Kinda hilly think nice twisty toboggan ride but it didn't seem to be any problem for big trucks and trailers. Nice Lake all though far from camp sites I was utterly amazed at how full the beach was on a Tuesday during covid. Nice free showers, they could have used a more frequent cleaning only due to the amount of hair in the women's shower. Definitely need to wear shower shoes it bring your own rubber mat which I will do next time. The store is tiny and super expensive so don't plan on that being a back up to what ever you may have forgotten. A big hit with families with small children they were bike riding all over the place so you have to take extra care driving around there but I guess that is due to poor parenting not anything to do with the place. Very quiet at night time. All the little kids went to bed early. The bathrooms (outhouses) were disgusting though. Terrible. And that's all there is for toilets, there aren't nice ones waiting for you at the shower. we will go again, according to my teenagers they say it's one of their favorites.”

“What a great little gem south of spruce grove. Kids had a blast. Only thing i gave 4 stars; One thing bothered a little was other people did not watch their dogs. If your not gonna watch your dog please leave them on a leash. Which i believe that's a rule on the board in the park. And I dont need a dog i dont know about my 2 year old and 2 month old.”

“This was a lot of fun. First time doing it on skis and did not disappoint!! Lots of short steep hills got the heart rate up, not too many people and the scenery was lovely for a sunny cold (-18) winter day. Will be heading out there again!! Trails are well groomed for ski users and wide enough for walking/snowshoeing as well. A large community of runners who access the mapped 6.8km double track as well as the many kilometers of single track off of the beaten trail. Great place to start cross country skiing if you are a beginner or expert just pick a trail to your skill and go from there. Also a great place for hikes and biking as well.”

“This is a great park for all ages with multiple slides. The green space around the park is well maintained and there are plenty on benches to rest on. There was plenty of room for my older children to run around and play tag, while my toddler was still in the same area playing and not getting in the way or knocked over.”

“This is a terrific place! They rehab all types of birds and animals. There's no charge to bring in any animal but because they're not government-funded there is a sign requesting a donation. They are a branch of the Wildlife Rehab in Edmonton. The staff are very caring and will keep you updated on the creature you bring in, if you request it. I brought in a Humminbird at dusk and unfortunately there wasn't anyone at the residence that is located on the Rehab's property. As I was filling out the paperwork at the front door a skunk came up to eat. Fortunately I knew enough to stand perfectly still and let it finish it snack!”

“Beautiful little walk in the snow. Short 1.2 km trail through a mostly wooded area. A little walk through an open field takes you to a hidden gem. My children loved exploring the path. In the thick of it the sound of the highway fades, the smells of the forest enhance and you feel almost like you are walking on a mountain path but mere minutes from a city of 1 million people.”

“This is a brand new long term RV Park. It's set in the river valley five minutes from Devon on 300 acres of private land beside the river. There Is a full - time caretaker and it is gated and secure. There is plenty of hiking and places to swim in the river or float or kayak and explore. Each large lot has 50 amp power, water and sewer hook ups. It is a 15-20 minute drive to Edmonton.”

“This is an absolutely beautiful RV Park! The lots are big and come with full hookup, there is an almost unlimited amount of trails for hiking and mountain biking (they hold ultra marathons here every fall), and it is very close to both Devon and Edmonton. You can definitely tell that it is kept with love and care. Highly recommended checking this place out!”

“Only a few minutes out of the city for such an amazing little escape. The paths/trails are all very nice. I went while it was still a little chilly out, but I can only imagine how beautiful it would be during the summer time. We also saw a moose while we were there. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Great place to go for a walk or clear your head and be around nature. Very well taken care of.”

“As part of the Luminaria event, I have to say the gardens were pretty, but not spectacular. It is cheap for each ticket and I know it's the first year doing it, but there was so much potential to make this a mind-blowing event and it just fell short. The pathway with the hanging stars was beautiful, but it led to nothing expect one ice sculpture in a huge, empty garden. The other garden with all the candles was really pretty too, but again, there was room for so much more. Also I think a couple of food trucks would have been a great addition, even if it was just hot comfort food. I'd love to see what they can do again next year if they step up their game.”
