Prince Of Wales Hotel

Oh my let me tell ya this was such a highlight in our trip. We went for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The hotel of course is old so don’t expect new technology. Beds are old etc but the service from the moment you walk in was incredible. We arrived at our room and they left a little personalized note for us which was super sweet 💕
The views from downstairs at midnight were also incredible once everyone is gone and you see the moon. We were there end of June 2023 and it was still day light at 10 pm! The town is also so charming. Had reservations for dinner and it was a nice addition to our stay.

Came in with a party of 4 for high tea.

Very classy establishment. The decor is warm yet formal. We particularly enjoyed the selection of unlimited teas and the platter of high tea offerings were very delicious and perfectly portioned.

The Espresso cheesecake, Egg salad and the salmon canape was to die for.

Highly recommend if you are in town and got time for some good afternoon tea. Reserve ahead

Has been on my bucket list for over 40 years. Finally got to take it all in. This hotel is spectacular. But so are the prices!
If you go it's going to cost you 10.50 Canadian to park. Unless you just go for 15 minutes then it's free.
Gift shop is a bit pricey, I suggest buying the book about the history of the Prince of Wales Hotel. It's 20.00 but worth it.
Was unable to have high tea in the lobby, was booked. Which is ok, as they charge 49.00 per person!
Beautiful hotel and the staff is awesome

We ate at the Prince of Wales twice during our stay in Waterton and it was amazing both times. High tea was wonderful in the dining room. The second time we had lunch in the main lobby. A tasty and large turkey brie sandwich that was reasonably priced. Staff were super friendly and the hotel location and view are outstanding. From our experience visiting the Prince of Wales should not be missed when you stay in Waterton. We will be back next year again and are already looking forward to it.

My kids and I had such a nice time at this beautiful hotel and its breathtaking surroundings. Staff is helpful, nice, and pleasant. Food is excellent. Had tea, dinner, and breakfast reservations and each time, we had the most delightful dishes, that tasted superb. Princess Suite was clean, historic, and as expected. We will come here again next summer!
