Location is perfect. Rooms are ok. Towels are fluffy and white and new. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner all smell good.
Getting to the room: you will need to go up a flight and a half of steps at the back (parking), the area needs more maintenance as it doesn’t look very nice. The front of the hotel looks ok but the back where everyone has to use to enter their rooms does not look like it belongs to the front of the hotel. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a photo of the back of the hotel where the guest entrances are but I think it won’t take much to actually improve the look.
The restaurant was closed for our whole 7-day stay since they had an exhaust or ventilation or some kind of mechanical problems.
No daily cleaning unless requested. You would need to bring out your own trash, this was explained to us upon check in.
Otherwise it was an ok stay.
Overall disappointed with our stay. The room was remodelled and nicely decorated, but was missing some key elements. There was not a screen on the sliding door and the room was incredibly hot. We had to leave the sliding door open most of the night. We also couldn’t get the air conditioner to work. Oddly there weren’t blackout blinds on the windows. Our room looked onto a back alley and several parking lots - there was a flood light on another building that kept flashing on and off most of the night. The room was very bright all night. Combined with the heat, we barely slept. The bathroom also needs a deep clean, but the rest of the room was very clean. We provided feedback when we checked out and it wasn’t really acknowledged by the manager. He suggested we stay in a different room next time, which wasn’t really helpful for our current stay. We stayed off season so the cost was fine, but I wouldn’t want to stay here during the high season. a different room next time, which wasn’t helpful for our current stay. Rooms were okay, but disappointed, there was no window to get fresh mountain air, and no screen on sliding door. Gas fireplace in bedroom made bedroom very warm and had to run air conditioner even though it was cool outside because of the pilot light heat. Relatively expensive for quality compared to other places we stayed on our two week trip.
Stayed in a romantic suite. Room was large and beautifully furnished. Booked at the tail end of the off season and the price was amazing. Accidentally left a pair of earrings that were of sentimental (and monetary) value. Realized two days after check out. Called the hotel and they had them at the front desk and were able to mail them to me. Very, very happy to have them back and so glad for the hotel staffs honesty.
