This location was absolutely amazing to stay at! The rooms we very clean and set up so cute! I loved that the mountain cabin feels went throughout the entire locations. The staff there were very helpful with finding activities to do locally and helping out at the facility.
Baker Creek is a great distance away from the hustle of Lake Louise while being close enough to drive there and do activities. if you are unsure of what to do around the area, the staff is very helpful to point you in the right directions. They also have pick-ups and drop-offs from the camp location to make it easier if you don't know the area.
Where do I begin? The location is perfect, right in the middle of the way to the lakes. Additionally, unlike other sites we saw, Baker Creek is right by the riverside, which makes the experience unbeatable. We stayed in a suite with the family (grandparents, mom, etc.), and it's super cozy, and fully equipped. It has heating, so you sleep wonderfully. And saving the best for last, Kim and Rachel are spectacular. Kim, the manager, saved our lives with a mistake we made with dates. Do not hesitate to book at this place; we will return if we revisit the area.
We had such a wonderful time staying at Baker Creek! Booked last minute after a previous reservation fell through, and we were not disappointed. We booked a Jacuzzi Suite. Rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped with books on the area, binoculars, a personal fireplace, and a binder of so many pages of things to do in the area. The scenery was gorgeous, and the perfect distance to lake louise. Front desk staff was so nice and helpful as well!
Our stay here last fall was a bucket list item and did not disappoint - except for the fact we only had one night. ;) The room was beyond lovely, with so many quaint details in the decor that are a whole mountain cabin vibe. The grounds are stunning, especially the fire pits at the river. There’s also a cute little shop with fancy treats and snacks. It’s a great base near Lake Louise right at stunning Hwy 1A - although you might not want to leave your room. ;) It’s definitely more of a get away rather than lively town accommodation. The rates got a little more affordable with the Basecamp takeover.
My partner and I decided to book a last minute mountain getaway and went with Baker Creek Mountain Resort, and we were not disappointed!
The man working the front desk (I forget his name, unfortunately) was so friendly and accommodating with us. He went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after.
Then we got to our room and it was just beautiful! Everything was clean, modern and rustic, and we had a nice view from our balcony of the water and mountain peaks.
We got to know other couples and a family while were there, and everyone was just so nice and pleasant!
The resort offers wood for the fire pits all around the resort, so we definitely made good use of that. It was so relaxing sitting around the fire with a glass of wine, the creek flowing and good company!
Check-out was easy and seamless. The woman working the desk was so friendly and warm.
We only stayed for one night, but overall we had such an amazing time. We will definitely be back. :)
