“My mental health journey has spanned over a decade, during which I have seen numerous counselors and tried various psychiatric medications. Unfortunately, neither approach brought me the relief or progress I so desperately needed. Then, I finally received a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder (BPD) and sought out Brianne for her expertise in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Although traditional DBT wasn't a feasible option for me, working with Brianne has proven to be the best of both worlds. She masterfully addresses my immediate concerns while simultaneously tying them to larger themes. As a result, our sessions are neither venting opportunities nor lectures, but rather productive and enlightening experiences. Under Brianne's guidance, I've been introduced to various theories, such as transactional analysis, which have helped me to better understand my thought processes and behaviors. We've also been able to drill down to the underlying issue of defining a set of values that resonate with me. Through an iterative process, we've made significant progress on this front, allowing me to gain a stronger sense of self and direction in life. In my time working with Brianne, I have not only experienced tremendous personal growth but also learned invaluable coping strategies to manage my BPD. Her empathetic approach, coupled with her wealth of knowledge and experience, has truly transformed my life.
