Somenos Creek Dog Park

Address: Beverly Street Dike Trail, Duncan, BC V9L 3A3, Canada

Park

“Personally I prefer human parks but what can you do? This does appear to be a very busy place. I guess if you don't like taking your dog for a walk you can drive it to a dog park where the dog can be let off leash. Another bonus is it keeps the dog poop (and poop filled bags) off the trails and sidewalks. I also noticed these poop filled bags hanging off the branches in the bush alongside walking trails. Sorta defeats the purpose I think”

Mount Tzouhalem Kaspa Rd Trailhead

Cowichan Estuary trail

“Three separate trails to view the Estuary, and all three offer excellent scenery, and nature and especially birding photo opportunities. Check your tide tables online, as the bay is shallow and when the tide is down the water is quite far from the trails, so fewer closeup birds. Also lots of birds in the fields such as owls, hawks and geese”
