“This is by far the best chicken sandwich I’ve had thus far. I ordered their chicken sandwich combo through UberEats— normally the sandwiches arrive soggy and warm, but this was a different case. The chicken was extremely crispy and fresh, the sauce or seasoning was something different from all chicken sandwiches in Vancouver. Upon opening the package I was shocked to see how big the actual chicken patty was and wondered how I was going to accomplish eating this. Next time I’ll order without raw onions as they aren’t my favourite, but everything else was perfect and would definitely recommend to anyone craving a good and crispy chicken sandwich!”

“This was my first time I have been to this restaurant and I will def come back here again. I like that there was less rice with lots of filling inside for the rolls. Plus pretty decent sized tempras with reasonable price as well. Sashimi tastes fresh. Server was super kind too. Their take out box and bag are eco-friendly. I especially like their reusable take out bag made out of cloth. Very sturdy, I"ll probably use it for grocery shopping too :) Only one thing, the crunch roll didn't have any sauce on it, I felt like something was missing while eating the roll. If there was some sauce on it as spicy mayo or others, it would be nicer. Other than that everything was very satisfied. The main enter interior is pretty cute and nice too.”

“Very cute place! The brunch line wasn’t long at all. All the staff were very nice and we even had 2 waitresses who were very attentive. We got the steak and eggs, two lattes and the west end. “We put the order in online and then communicated via email and text. Delivery was right on time and payment was easy…e-transfer, cheque, credit card, debit or cash. The meat was nicely flavoured, not over salty at all; I loved the hint of lemongrass and all the crispy skin. Someone phoned to let me know that we had double-paid; it was miscommunication on our end. The problem was quickly resolved with money returned. We had so much left over that families could take containers of meat home with them. I highly recommend Kuy’s Lechon.”

We had salted fish chicken fried rice, swirl egg beef on thick noodles, baked pork chop on rice and dim sum steamed chicken feet. The food was good, not too salty or oily. One of our servers was still in training and still getting their system together. We will try their French toast next time it is supposed to be their specialty.”

“So happy! 😃 Van Tea Cafe Richmond finally opened on Oct 19, Van Tea Cafe is a HK style cafe located on the corner of 41st and Main. My family always has trouble deciding where to eat , my friend had recently recommended Van Tea Cafe so that's what I suggested, and our whole family are now their loyal guests in general they have so many delicious dishes to recommend! First of all, I personally highly recommend Drunken Chicken Pot, Singapore Laksa Rice Noodles, Steamed Rice with Northern Mushroom Slider Chicken and Chipotle Chicken Ball Pot! Also worth mentioning is their breakfast, Both breakfast with French Toast were quite good. I like their crispy sided sunny sides up and the smooth omelette. The French Toast totally satisfied our cravings. It was crispy egg battered outside with egg custard jam inside. You could add the butter and syrup on top of your French Toast. The Satay Beef on macaroni was very flavorful with the satay sauce. 👍 Food was delicious and one of the best laksa in Vancouver! Reasonably priced and huge servings. The place is very clean inside Amazing staff, very kind polite and patient. Vancouver is an Asian food hub and Van Tea Cafe is the best Hong Kong styled restaurant. Very authentic, would 100% recommend.”

“Great service and the deliveries are always on time. I’ve only had one small issue with an order and they went above and beyond my expectations to resolve it. The convenience combined with the customer service make it a no brainer for my work meals. I’m a fan of popcorn chicken for a mess free on the go meal, and then peanut Thai and the curry bowl for more of a sit down meal, they’re both DELICIOUS and I don’t feel like garbage after eating them. Tried the fake meat, it was actually great - often restaurants overcook the fake meat and it’s dry and nasty. Not here, perfection. Portion size was quite fair for the price. However, the sides of salsa & guac were small - should be closer to 25 cents instead of $1. But I’m sure Uber marked it up a lot. Overall 5 stars, will definitely be back.”

“Absolute gem of a place. Opened on the 9th of September 1999 this restaurant was run by Ken. His wife mentioned that after he had a heart attack and stroke she has been managing it all on her own. Great value for your money. Large serving size and tasty food. Has a ramp to enter so it's also easily accessible. Since the kind lady cleans the tables, takes the orders, cooks the food and manages payment, service can be a bit slower that most restaurants but it definitely isn't bad. Just make sure to go on a day when you aren't in a rush. Definitely worth checking out, not only for the Caribbean food but for the Japaribbean twists as well. This restaurant adds character to the neighborhood and is a good stop when you're in the mood for a story. Make sure to sign the calendar on your way out.”

“I found out about Empanada Gals thru the New Westies group on Facebook. What caught my attention was that they had Gluten Free empanadas on their menu! Having gluten sensitivity, you always find it valuable when somebody has this option. We ordered yesterday the dinner special box and it was delicious! “Located in the former Donair Girl location on Edmonds, Iman Kabul Cuisine serves up some pretty tasty donairs and middle eastern fare. I've tried the mixed beef and chicken donair with lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, and tabouli as well as the saucy chicken donair. Both turned out quite well (you might want to order the large size if you have a hearty appetite). The special platter is good too. It's hard to tell when you first get it because all of the goodies are hidden underneath the rice (including the pita bread on the very bottom) so you have to mix it all up. Overall, a cute little shop where you can pick up a quick bite.”

“The latest donair shop to take over this location on Edmonds (previously Iman Kabul and Donair Girl before that). So far, items I've tried have been good. I like that you can get mixed meat options here like the mixed meat platter and mixed meat donair (ie. chicken and beef). The large donair is pretty huge so I'd probably stick with the regular size in the future. Update: Their menu has changed recently. Also noticed that they put French fries in their donairs now. Personally, I think the fries get too soggy inside the wrap so I ask them to leave them out now.”
