“This was my first time I have been to this restaurant and I will def come back here again. I like that there was less rice with lots of filling inside for the rolls. Plus pretty decent sized tempras with reasonable price as well. Sashimi tastes fresh. Server was super kind too. Their take out box and bag are eco-friendly. I especially like their reusable take out bag made out of cloth. Very sturdy, I"ll probably use it for grocery shopping too :) Only one thing, the crunch roll didn't have any sauce on it, I felt like something was missing while eating the roll. If there was some sauce on it as spicy mayo or others, it would be nicer. Other than that everything was very satisfied. The main enter interior is pretty cute and nice too.”

“The Boot Truck meets... the Bite-Food Truck! Had a quick meal Saturday on my way to Maple Ridge. Good selection and awesome customer service. Had the pork sandwich and was delicious. A nice lite escape from the mainstream franchise restaurants that are overrated.”

“Located in the former Donair Girl location on Edmonds, Iman Kabul Cuisine serves up some pretty tasty donairs and middle eastern fare. I've tried the mixed beef and chicken donair with lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, and tabouli as well as the saucy chicken donair. Both turned out quite well (you might want to order the large size if you have a hearty appetite). The special platter is good too. It's hard to tell when you first get it because all of the goodies are hidden underneath the rice (including the pita bread on the very bottom) so you have to mix it all up. Overall, a cute little shop where you can pick up a quick bite.”

“The latest donair shop to take over this location on Edmonds (previously Iman Kabul and Donair Girl before that). So far, items I've tried have been good. I like that you can get mixed meat options here like the mixed meat platter and mixed meat donair (ie. chicken and beef). The large donair is pretty huge so I'd probably stick with the regular size in the future. Update: Their menu has changed recently. Also noticed that they put French fries in their donairs now. Personally, I think the fries get too soggy inside the wrap so I ask them to leave them out now.”

“Staff was really friendly and helpful! Not many people when we went on a weeknight. BBQ meats were nice. Spicy cheese chicken was just ok. Needed more flavour. Spicy tofu soup was just ok as well. Decent. Price is on the higher side. Private rooms were available. It could be better but I think 4 stars is fair.”

“Great new spot! Had a classic Margarita and a Hot Momma pizza. The sourdough adds a unique flavor. Would definitely recommend the black truffle aioli on the side. Overall good experience”

“This was delicious, hands down some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. The person at the counter said it would be about a twenty minuet wait but I would happily wait in line for an hour for this. I had a half order with yangyeom sauce, the portion was surprisingly large. The chicken was cooked perfectly super crisp and very moist. I even went back to complement and thank the employees after I ate.”

“Was curious about this place so I checked it out today and got their basic boneless fried chicken. Very yummy, with a nice crunch! I also liked that a few fries snuck into the box by accident. I saved some to share with the family and they all agreed it was excellent!”

“I’ve always loved Steve’s Poke Bar at their other locations, and this one is no different. The value of the build your own bowl is great because you get unlimited toppings too. Some places make their bowls too salty or too sweet, but this place has a great soy base that goes well with everything. Not to mention the friendly service and beautiful presentation. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the Brentwood area.”

“Although it look nice. The batter on the "premium eel" is especially thick and not cooked through. Soggy and doughy in the middle, with very thin slice of eel. I can only taste the dough. And because the temperature is not right, the dough and batter actually retain a lot of oil and made it very heavy and oily. The kitchen hood for the frying station can also be better and stronger as the oily air is dispersed faraway when we are waiting for 30 min from the table. The only bright side is the sauce on the rice.”

“Albeit yummy with a more classic flavour selection, the pizzas are not so filling at 4 dollars per slice. So this place is great for a bite but not if you need a fixer for a hangover or if you got the munchies. Those are more reserved for places like megabite. If it was more filling, it'd be a 5/5. Service was friendly, I wish they'd reheat the slices a bit more though.”

“Been wanting to try this place for a while. Fresh bread and fresh beef donair/durum are hard to find. Bread was nice meat was decent shaved like a good Berlin donair. Was a good platter. Would try again. service was ok food could have been more warm.”

“Went on a weekend afternoon and there was no line. Ordered a Saboten set and the food was served quickly. Staff were polite and efficient in their work. The katsu was crunchy on the outside and the pork and chicken was still moist inside. The panko crust did fall off the chicken and the pork after one bite, so it wasn't perfect. The various sauces and seasonings were great for the dish, but there was no explanation as to which sauce was for which part of the set. That would have been nice. Yes, there was a fair amount of rice, but it tastes great with the seasoning so even if it's more than what's necessary, it's still good.”

“The food is really stand-out, and our server was delightful. Best sweet potato fries I think I've ever had, a bit flat to allow a crunchier surface area without being gummy like sweet potato fries can be. The baguette for the po-boy sandwich had a thin crunch on the outside and a nice sourdough texture inside. Just the right amount of resistance when taking a bite. Several vegan dishes, too. Will definitely return and try different plates. There were so many great choices it was hard to decide what to order.”

“Of all the sushi Garden locations this one is the best! Always super fresh and quick and courteous service. It’s also better than most other sushi places too. I recently had the staff pick my sushi for me and it was absolutely delicious!”

“Chronically understaffed so service is curt and efficient. Food is always great and plentiful, and goes great with their dipping sauce mix. Tremendous value for what you get. Love their fruit tea! I usually order the chicken hotpot and cook it at 175°F for optimum tenderness (turn the control dial counterclockwise to set a specific temperature). Reservations recommended. QR code and ID required.”

“Eat Your Cake has been a lifesaver for me. I have a busy work schedule, and although I know eating well makes me more productive, I didn’t have the time to prep meals. Eat Your Cake has been providing me with healthy meals that are customized to help me with my goals, and yes, taste amazing. Honestly, if you’re thinking about starting with Eat Your Cake, do it. I wish I started ages ago!”

“Being a kind of fish and chip consumer/lover I was searching Google for a best fish and chips Vancouver location and found this restaurant. The Fish and chips we had tonight were the best we ever had in our lives. As advertised the place is very homey and spotless with very polite staff. We had the cod fish and chips with calamari and oysters. Wow!!! such big fat delicious oysters and great calamari in very generous portions. SO bottom line 10 out of 10. No more long drives to White Rock or Horseshoe bay for us to have fish and chips.”

“Today I came to Kensington Subway for the first time. Two young ladies worked there, both very gentle and polite. I asked one of the staff to explain to me how I should order and what are prices. One of them explained all the details I needed to know very patiently, and she did it precisely. The sandwiches were tasty and fresh at reasonable prices. But I had a little problem with the tipping process. During the payment process, I had no option to pay the tip (at least I didn't notice). So I thought this was part of Subway's sales policy, which removed the tip. When I got the receipt, I noticed that tip was added automatically. I have no problem with that amount, but it would have been better if the customer had the right to determine the amount himself. In my opinion, this amount was even small for today, and I would have paid more if I had the option. Thanks to the Kensington Subway team.”

“Crazy Indian fusion food. I ever tried something like that. The sauces got kick in it. Little less Salt would be my suggestion. Over all must try cusine. Their sandwichs are different and mouthwatering.”

“Went to this place for the first time ever yesterday and I have to say it's a very nice place. Nice open spaces and plenty of bar seating. The server behind the bar that day was very friendly and made sure to check on my beer levels to make sure I wasn't being ignored. The one thing I had that people need to try is the grizzly breakfast. It's two eggs any style with ham, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns and toast for 14 bucks. That is such a good amount of food as well as a good price on a great breakfast. Will definitely be going back there soon and will have pictures of the food next time as.i ate the breakfast really fast.”

“The servers are great with kids. There is a kids menu here $10 for 5+year olds otherwise kids under five eat free. Menu is basic however the buffet here costs only a $5 more than the most expensive a la carte menu and comes with coffee and juice ($23). It’s not bad, eggs and protein limited but has fruit, pastries and deserts. You can make your own waffles here too!”
