“We were there for Thursday Trivia night and we had a lot of fun. The moderator was very entertaining and created quite original questions for the quiz. The beer price reasonable and we got some decent dishes to share. Will go back again!”

“Good parking, in a convenient location that is generally not too busy. The store is a bit crammed, with an organic vibe, and priced to keep the riff-raff out, but friendly to passive aggressive seniors and righteous electric vehicule drivers.”

“I have wandered into this neighbourhood shop to peruse and purchase in the past, but today I was just so impressed with how caring and awesome the folks in there were... I'll definitely keep going back!! (Oh yes, and great selection too :)”

“Vegan & also so delicious and nutritious - a hard combination to achieve! The bowls are actually pretty reasonably priced, bearing in mind that you are likely to be hungry after you are done unless you also get a smoothie (which you should do) - so you'll probably spend >$20 if you want to be full. But you will leave feeling like your body is a temple full of very good ingredients!”

“Amazing store! The staff were kind enough to walk me through all the yummy treats. Great selection of snacks. Fantastic experience!!”

“I'm very thankful to have this beautiful French restaurant in my neighborhood. Finally tried it for the 1st time. You have to get there early as its 1st come 1st served and due to it's exceptional service and food it's busy but well worth the wait. I went for dinner but plan on returning very soon for their breakfast. You couldn't go wrong with anything on the well thought out menu. But you must try the cheese board served table side. Enjoy!”

“Great selection of teas here and usually a friendly and knowledgeable staff. A few times I’ve gone (and lingered, hoping for service), I’ve felt seriously ignored in favour of whoever was at the bar. Last time it was a group of cute girls, and although my partner and I waited 15 minutes for service, we couldn’t get the sales guys to drag themselves away, so we left without making any purchases. Will definitely keep trying because this place is a gem.”

“I don't think I have ever had a sandwich with so much meat on it. No complaints here. It was amazing. The bread, all of it. Perfect. Get the cubano.”

“So good. Just so good. We’ve been here multiple times for the smoked brisket sandwich. First off, the fries it comes with must be battered or double fried or something because they’re perfectly crispy and paired with a homemade ketchup that’s the ideal balance of sweet and salty. Those alone are worth coming here for. But then you get to this heavenly sandwich. It reminds me of a very well executed pulled pork in the sense that the brisket is drenched in sweet, yet savoury bbq sauce and topped with a fresh, crunchy slaw. All served on a soft bun. Now I’m hungry again and probably need to order in another sandwich.”

“A Kitsilano classic! I’ve been coming here for years and it’s my favourite sushi restaurant in the neighbourhood. The staff are always so friendly and the sushi is excellent for a great price. Love the booths! Highly recommend!”

“This is a great restaurant. We came in for dinner and they sat us right away. Staff and servers were very nice and efficient. We ordered the hummus to start and it was very tasty. Freshly made and very good. A glass of red wine before our meal. Then we got the entrees and there was plenty of food. I got the salmon and it tasted great. Did not know how good it would be. A cornucopia of flavors. My wife ordered the pork souvlaki and liked it but said that next time she will order the chicken instead. We had a great meal and our server was great and helpful. We will definitely will return. Right now we are enjoying our leftovers. Good restaurant, good food, good staff.”

“Simit Bakery Cafe is an amazing Turkish Bakery and an awesome spot for breakfast. They also offer halal meat (not all meat is halal so ask before ordering). I highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches and the Nutella filled pastry.”

“A wonderful dinner and marvelous way to celebrate the Persian new year! Had two starters which were amazing - olives in a pomegranate molasses marinade, which was so unique and delicious, and a roasted cauliflower on yogurt that was divine. The special new year's lamb shank was melt-in-your-mouth, and the saffron ice cream sandwich and orange turmeric cake were very tasty. Absolutely stuffed with homemade goodness! The service was very personal and it was lovely to support this new addition to the neighbourhood.”

“A very fun treat to watch it getting made right in front of you, not to mention amazing flavours. So fresh and tasty, great staff! If you haven’t tried rolled ice cream this is the place to have it. You will be hooked.”

“I love it here! The service is amazing and the entire experience is completely mindblowing. I thought my eyes would adjust to the light, but they never did. If you don't like surprises, the entree and dessert are usually unknown, but you can pick everything else. EDIT: My second time here wasn't as fun. They entered in our order wrong, which was fine but it was a bit off-putting since we were eating food in the dark. They were really accommodating for nut allergies. My main surprise was the service. I remember the first time I came here, the service was incredible. They were super nice and willing to answer all of our questions. This time, it seemed like they were trying to rush us out the door and it wasn't nearly as enjoyable. Still definitely worth the experience, but maybe go on a slower day.”

“Yasma is THE hidden gem of Vancouver! They clearly put in an immense amount of effort into the plating which makes ordering take out here that much more worth it. Keep it up guys!”

“Awesome farm market in Vancouver. Spoke to the owner, great guy. Lots of selection at this local farm market.”

“Great prices on everything and lots of second hand gear to keep cost down further. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! If they don't have something specific you're after, they can most definitely bring it in for you.”

“Amazing professional service. They really care about their craft and put great care and attention to detail into every order. The strawberries in the box of 12 are massive, perfectly ripe and juicy and the dark chocolate is just the perfect pairing. This place is being run right by great people. I will be coming back again and again for every craving and holiday gift. Thank you guys so much! (We ate 3 already in the car ride home)”

“I love this shop a lot. It's indeed the Neverland in Vancouver. It sells goods with high quality and most them are made in France, UK, Japan or NYC. The owner has a very nice taste of selecting the selling items and interior decor. The store is a trendy space to explore and give you inspirations. You may also relax and have a cup coffee there. It reminds me the stores, like "Beams " in Japan or ""the Cabbages & Roses" in London. Highly recommend.”

“Great quality meat. However, sandwiches are very decent for this price. Had beef stew there a couple of days ago, and it was not good - corned beef, water and 2 sweet peas was all I found in the plate. Oh, and a hair. Was very disappointed.”
