“We were there for Thursday Trivia night and we had a lot of fun. The moderator was very entertaining and created quite original questions for the quiz. The beer price reasonable and we got some decent dishes to share. Will go back again!”

“Vegan & also so delicious and nutritious - a hard combination to achieve! The bowls are actually pretty reasonably priced, bearing in mind that you are likely to be hungry after you are done unless you also get a smoothie (which you should do) - so you'll probably spend >$20 if you want to be full. But you will leave feeling like your body is a temple full of very good ingredients!”

“I'm very thankful to have this beautiful French restaurant in my neighborhood. Finally tried it for the 1st time. You have to get there early as its 1st come 1st served and due to it's exceptional service and food it's busy but well worth the wait. I went for dinner but plan on returning very soon for their breakfast. You couldn't go wrong with anything on the well thought out menu. But you must try the cheese board served table side. Enjoy!”

“So good. Just so good. We’ve been here multiple times for the smoked brisket sandwich. First off, the fries it comes with must be battered or double fried or something because they’re perfectly crispy and paired with a homemade ketchup that’s the ideal balance of sweet and salty. Those alone are worth coming here for. But then you get to this heavenly sandwich. It reminds me of a very well executed pulled pork in the sense that the brisket is drenched in sweet, yet savoury bbq sauce and topped with a fresh, crunchy slaw. All served on a soft bun. Now I’m hungry again and probably need to order in another sandwich.”

“A Kitsilano classic! I’ve been coming here for years and it’s my favourite sushi restaurant in the neighbourhood. The staff are always so friendly and the sushi is excellent for a great price. Love the booths! Highly recommend!”

“This is a great restaurant. We came in for dinner and they sat us right away. Staff and servers were very nice and efficient. We ordered the hummus to start and it was very tasty. Freshly made and very good. A glass of red wine before our meal. Then we got the entrees and there was plenty of food. I got the salmon and it tasted great. Did not know how good it would be. A cornucopia of flavors. My wife ordered the pork souvlaki and liked it but said that next time she will order the chicken instead. We had a great meal and our server was great and helpful. We will definitely will return. Right now we are enjoying our leftovers. Good restaurant, good food, good staff.”

“A wonderful dinner and marvelous way to celebrate the Persian new year! Had two starters which were amazing - olives in a pomegranate molasses marinade, which was so unique and delicious, and a roasted cauliflower on yogurt that was divine. The special new year's lamb shank was melt-in-your-mouth, and the saffron ice cream sandwich and orange turmeric cake were very tasty. Absolutely stuffed with homemade goodness! The service was very personal and it was lovely to support this new addition to the neighbourhood.”

“I love it here! The service is amazing and the entire experience is completely mindblowing. I thought my eyes would adjust to the light, but they never did. If you don't like surprises, the entree and dessert are usually unknown, but you can pick everything else. EDIT: My second time here wasn't as fun. They entered in our order wrong, which was fine but it was a bit off-putting since we were eating food in the dark. They were really accommodating for nut allergies. My main surprise was the service. I remember the first time I came here, the service was incredible. They were super nice and willing to answer all of our questions. This time, it seemed like they were trying to rush us out the door and it wasn't nearly as enjoyable. Still definitely worth the experience, but maybe go on a slower day.”

“Yasma is THE hidden gem of Vancouver! They clearly put in an immense amount of effort into the plating which makes ordering take out here that much more worth it. Keep it up guys!”

“Jolly's do the best butter chicken in Vancouver. It is silky and full of flavour. They will also season (spice) it to taste so the kids can have it. Every dish I tried I loved. Lots of veggie options also. Great service, not in your face like some places. Every time I go I can't help saying " this is the best Indian food in the city" I sound like a broken record.”

“A cozy little restaurant with delicious food. Went there at around 1pm and there were lots of empty seats. Thai iced tea was refreshing and tasty! The lunch combo was reasonably priced and yummy. I think the portion is enough for an adult female. I really enjoyed the curry and fried wonton. Will come back again:-)”

“I am a big fan. For COVID purposes, they have really nicely spaced outdoor seating, and all the servers wore masks. I thought the service was great, too. I felt totally safe there, and I’m a bit nervous about being in public spaces right now. The food was great. I love the bbq pork buns, and my favourite dumpling were the cilantro and shrimp and the chive and shrimp. Yum :)”
