“The location is idyllic and the staff are exceptional. We walked in with snowshoes which was quite grueling, in hindsight next time we'll cross-country ski. Due to Covid various things are unavailable (pool table, access to books, board games) which all make sense, just would have been good if the website warned us as we'd have brought a board game of our own. The dinner was really good, three courses all of which were great (we brought our own wine). Breakfast was a little more basic, fruit salad and toast (oatmeal was an option). The room was comfortable as was the bed, only our room was near a pump which turns on every 90 seconds or so, but it turns off when power gets turned off at 10PM so its not a problem for sleeping. All in all a beautiful experience.”

“Snowshoe trails are excellent and are well maintained. Be prepared to drive 15 minutes to the base through compact snow after exiting the highway. Pricing is a little high as there are other free snowshoeing alternatives in and around Whistler.”

“What a great place to go Snowshoeing!!! Affordable, well maintained and with rentals on-site. Trails well marked. Bathrooms located close to entrance, and well maintained. It was my first time snowshoeing and while it wasn’t the easiest trail, (not for everyone), it was manageable and I strongly recommend it for people that don’t mind a little challenge. We went mid-January, the day was glorious and there weren’t a lot of people. It was a good drive from Vancouver (1hr47mins) with great road conditions. ***IT IS ALWAYS RECOMMENDED TO DRIVE WITH SNOW TIRES (OR ALL SEASON TIRES*** Cost was relatively cheap when you factor in everything. At the time (Jan 2021) entrance tickets were $34.50CAD for two of us. Snowshoe rentals were $44.80CAD for two of us. As it was our first time, we did one of the shortest trails (Alexander Falls Explorer Trail). It took us about 2-2.5hrs return. We went slow and stopped along the way for some photos and to take it all in. I hope this review was helpful and informative. I posted some images of our day.”

“Great day trip to go snowshoeing! Make sure to check the weather before if it's needed to rent snowshoes. If you do rent make sure to reserve online before. We rented in squamish at Urban Alpine because all the rentals were booked up at Callaghan.”

“This was the best trail ride I've ever experienced. Very rugged terrain for some excitement. Great staff who ensure you have all the information for a safe and pleasant ride. Beautiful horses, they take pictures for you. Will definitely be coming back for another ride.”

“My partner and I booked the Wilderness tour. There were only 3 other adults booked for the tour so we thought it would be fine. However, they were going about 10km/hour and it was ruining the whole experience. Blackcomb last minute upgraded us (on their own initiative and on a busy day) to a private tour and sent a guide to meet us part way up the trail! Dylan (the guide) was super friendly and knew the machines really well. Totally saved the whole experience. We got to do some faster riding and quite a few trails. If you don’t want to go super slow just book the private tour! In addition to this great customer service, they fixed an issue we had with a gift certificate (not their fault as it wasn’t their system but they fixed it anyway), and one of the managers even lent me his belt as I forgot one for my snow pants. We will book another tour with Blackcomb for sure!”

“Great campsite. Wish we could have taken a site in the back area as the view is amazing but the rest of our family were tenting and we wanted to be closer to them. Sites were all good size. We took a walk in the area and was really happy to see the place looking well maintained and clean. We didn't use the washrooms till our last day when we were about to leave and didn't want to use our RV washroom anymore and was so surprised on how clean and big the washrooms are. Would definitely come back and highly recommend this place. Very close to lots of nice hiking place and beautiful water falls”

“My wife and I chose Brew Creek Centre as our wedding destination for the weekend and we were INCREDIBLY blown away by the customer service, attention to details and willingness to help us through the process every step of the way. Fiona, Pamela and the entire team were beyond amazing to work with and we couldn't recommend this location and what they offer more than enough. If you need proof to book this venue from past feedback, ask Brew Creek to connect us over the phone and we'd be more than happy to share our stories of how they went above and beyond every part of the process. Thanks again for an amazing time!!”

“Worth every km walked. I did this in one day from rubble Creek parking lot and back; definitely would not recommend doing that! Stay and camp overnight. Highly recommend getting there early around 10 or earlier as there wasn't anyone there!”

“Stayed for a night during the summer. Al was a great host; super friendly and outgoing person. Definitely would recommend this place. The site itself is BC camping at its finest.”
Address: Elfin Lakes Trail, Whistler, BC V0N 0A0, Canada
“Stayed here July 20 when Elfin Lakes was fully booked. Basic camping area with about 15 elevated gravel tent pads, a bear box for food, and an outhouse. It's on a north-facing slope so even in late July half the sites were snow-covered, and the ponds themselves were frozen. Still acceptable for a night's sleep, especially if you want to get away from the crowds. Tons of mosquitos and blackflies, bring your bug spray! Good views of the Opal Cone and Garibaldi, and just a short hike down the hill is seldom-visited Mamquam Lake.”

“This was our first time snow shoeing up to the Elfin Lakes' hut. The trail it self is well laid out. The trail is moderate in difficulty. You can snow shoe and or cross country ski up the trail. The Hut has multiple 2 person and 1 person bunk type sleeping quarters. The hut also comes equipped with two gas burning stoves and communal pots and pans to use. There is also a wood burning fire place that is regulated by a certain temperature (non-adjustable) it turns on and off on its own. I believe the hut sleeps 31 people. It's best to book ahead of time as the hut books up very fast! The views are amazing any direction you look at. Pictures do not do this place justice. A must do trail to add to your list!”

“23km is not that far if you have lots of friends! But good shoes is needed for sure. The view at top is OK but not stunning good. Good thing is there is a small chamber you can stay. I didn’t go in there so I can’t commend on how good is it. Some photo credits to my friend Ardis.”
