“Great hike, rugged trail at spots. The real summit is 4Km’s from Chinese mountain parking lot one way (8Km return) took us 4 hours at leisurely pace and a little picnic.”

“One of the nicest campsite we have ever been to. Zoe went above and beyond to accommodate us after a small hiccup - she was great! Although our site wasn’t right by the ocean, we actually preferred this since the inland sites feel more private (and the ocean is just a short walk away). Thank you for making our stay on Quadra Island so memorable.”

“Beautiful park, with long rocky beaches covered in drift wood. Big field near parking lot in middle of spit is perfect for sports. Restrooms in a number of spots. Good trails for walking and running.”

“A definite go to place for paddling. Absolutely gorgeous. Plan a full day to paddle and explore the perimeter of this lake. You will not be disappointed!”

“Went in June. Sooo beautiful. Lagoon side wasn't busy. Great if you paddle board or kayak. Beginner area or great for kids swimming. The other side is the ocean view. A wharf and picnic tables around to have lunch.”

“A nice place for extremely easy hiking, or a casual trail walk if you're in the area. The trail is well marked and there are maps within so it's near impossible to get lost, especially considering how short the trail is. It's within walking distance of Gorge Harbour so it could easily be for in if you were staying at the harbour or just visiting for a meal or the day.”

“One of the nicest campsites I've been to. Private, out of the way but still easily car accessible (no 4x4 required). Staff were friendly, too. An easy walk to the beach with great views and sandy spots to rest. Water said to boil it, but washrooms (outhouses) were clean. As other reviewers mentioned, some of the sites had average privacy between neighbouring sites. They did plant ferns and shrubs and they're starting to grow in, and soon the sites will be very nicely private, but they are by no means bad right now.”

“A large quiet anchorage with about 40ft depth and good holding ground. Good hiking spots up to a lake that is pleasant to swim in. Excellent fishing and prawning nearby.”

“Beautiful location anchored here in a 42 foot sailboat for 3 nights . The water was warm and we were able to swim right off the boat. The walk to the lake is definitely an adventure having to boulder some rocks but definitely worth it! The waterfalls are also gorgeous and so fun to under a raging waterfall that is warm!”
