“This Rubber Duck location is pretty good compared to another location I went too. A lot more car wash bays and also an automatic car wash. What I would improve would be pave the entire surface to be smooth. And the automatic car was was a bit tight in my opinion. Also the drying time is way too short, needs to increase the drying time by at least another 30 seconds in my opinion. I would think about using this car was service”

“Metro Regional Housing is good a crises. We have had floods and fires at Joseph Howe Manor and they came through every time. They are also good at day to day operations, the place is clean but only fairly well managed. There is a proven noise problem that affects the ninth floor. The previous general manager, Patricia (Pat) Lawrence tried to get a sound engineer before she retired in August 2013. Her replacement, Janet Burt-Gerrans admits the noise but refuses to get an engineer. She does not like my Joe Howe News, a monthly critique of Metro's management which is a document of record at the Public Archives of NS. In fact, we're going to small claims court to let them decide if a tenant can criticize his landlord as a journalist. Peter McGuigan MA”

“I was lucky to have the best service experience I have ever had with any dealership. It was on a road trip from Quebec that my old Outback broke down. Without an appointment I was not able to have it repaired at any garage. Tried my luck and call Steele Subaru, and they told me they could let me leave the car there and try to fix it asap. I managed to limp there and they gave me a quick diagnosis. They updated me by the end of the day. They were not able to handle it due to their tight schedule, but I was so thankful that they gave me an update anyway. The next day another update was sent to me, saying the car was in the repair process (even with a video!). In the afternoon, the car was back to life! Thank you so much dear guys! You saved my trip! Otherwise I would be forced to be stranded in Halifax for several days (though I do love this place). What's more, their courtesy and professionalism is something that I have never experienced with any dealership before. Two thumbs up!”

Prices, fair and transparent, nothing just thrown in. Didn't want to give 5 stars right away, but after the same experience last week fixing up my starter, they deserve nothing less. Always build up trust with your own mechanic/shop, but this is a good place to start!”
