“I was lucky to have the best service experience I have ever had with any dealership. It was on a road trip from Quebec that my old Outback broke down. Without an appointment I was not able to have it repaired at any garage. Tried my luck and call Steele Subaru, and they told me they could let me leave the car there and try to fix it asap. I managed to limp there and they gave me a quick diagnosis. They updated me by the end of the day. They were not able to handle it due to their tight schedule, but I was so thankful that they gave me an update anyway. The next day another update was sent to me, saying the car was in the repair process (even with a video!). In the afternoon, the car was back to life! Thank you so much dear guys! You saved my trip! Otherwise I would be forced to be stranded in Halifax for several days (though I do love this place). What's more, their courtesy and professionalism is something that I have never experienced with any dealership before. Two thumbs up!”

As they made Richard the Busker who never,ever begs or asks for money not expects it,was told there was a complaint so you can't be here anymore. Well Super Store was smart and gave him permission to play. He is a North End fixture. Even the double decker buses announcer him when they drive by! It's too quiet if he's not their and he can make you smile. So I use this location. As I don't love the attitude at the one on Young Street. I go where their are positive good vibes.”

However, the oysters were not great - sauces were nice but the oysters were small and lacking in flavour. There was also a slight issue with the preparation, as there were some shell shards that got into our mouths - nothing dangerous but unpleasant nonetheless. Grab some cider and skip the oysters.”

“What a pleasant discovery! We love cooking Indian Cuisine at home, but often have difficulty finding certain spices and ingredients. My husband was born and raised in the UK, so some of his favourite curries are hard to come by too. We were both so pleased to see many familiar things in one place! I was blown away at some of the low pricing (cardamom pods, some of the branded chutneys and spice mixes) but some items were unmarked with pricing which was a bit tricky. I was also excited to see a fridge full of freshly prepared Indian sweets, but was deterred as it was self-serve. I will look forward to trying them another time. An excellent variety of products in the store, between fresh and frozen produce, non-perishable items, prepared foods (both fresh and frozen) and endless teas, mixes and spices. They also sell some hot and ready samosas at the front counter which is such a sneaky but extremely successful tactic!! We left with a pretty good load of goodies and can't wait to dig into them this week. Also, if you go for nothing else, you need to try their Samosas. We couldn't help but buy one at the counter and it didn't even make it home. Really light and crispy pastry and the most delicious mix of spices inside. We will be back!!”

“The past few years I have had bad experiences whenever I have tried to open and fill the pita. It basically crumbles and falls apart. Even when they are fresh. It tastes fine and is good for dipping but terrible for filling. Even lite fills result in failure. I don't know what the better alternative is. I've always bought these pitas because they are at the local Mid East shop but it's embarassing when we have them with guests, and things end up a mess.”

As other reviewers have pointed out, the menu is chock full of Latin American eats but the portions are miniscule. For instance, tostadas are pictured in the menu resembling the size of a large fist but arrive closer to the size of a two bite brownie. The plate in my picture costs nearly $35! This place has potential, but you'll have to be sure to order lots if you want to leave full.”
