“We try to do this trail every year, a real gem of the park! We stick to the traditional route entering through the entrance, although we notice many people enter through the exit as it’s an easier climb to the peak with a wood staircase to aid the ascent. It took us 1h 35min to complete the trail this year walking quickly and stopping briefly at the top for photos. It’s a bit of a steep incline to the top but very doable. Once at the lookout above you can see the beauty of the park for miles! A great spot to stop, have a snack and enjoy the beautiful fall colours. Additionally, the exit of the trail is very easy to navigate as it’s relaxing walk along a beautiful beach shoreline. We will continue to do this trail every year as it gives us the best bang for our buck. Shorter and easier to navigate than Centennial Ridges with one of the best views in the park as your payoff.”

“Can’t say enough positive things about our experience and the people at Winterdance. Everyone makes certain your experience is the best it possibly can be. We were able to mush our own dogs and had lots of time to pet them and takes pictures. They take fantastic care of all the dogs. Highly recommend for all your dog sledding needs! The maple syrup they sell is delicious so I recommend you purchase some while you’re there. Looking forward to making it back sometime soon. Thank you Hank, Barb and everyone else!”

“A museum full of local history. With many interesting things to see, from past local and major events, sports, 19th century appliances, remembrance, sawmill dioramas, merchandise, past store items, and most importantly the people, tools and machinery that shaped and built this town! Friendly and welcoming staff as well, who give little tidbits and facts on the exhibits. Even on the mythical boar creature who you first see when you walk through the door.”

“Amazing art gallery in a stunning location! Run by an enthusiastic and locally-focused curator, as well as a lot of dedicated volunteers. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area, and be sure to leave a donation, as it is not-for-profit! ❤️ There are always really unique and inspiring shows going on, and there is a really cool gift shop filled with local artists’ work. Definitely the best small gallery I’ve been to!”

“I ordered two separate large meals for my intimate cottage wedding recently. I had always heard good things about Abbey Gardens but they completely blew us away! The food was fantastic and everyone raved about it. We worked with a few staff members who were all amazing, responsive and catered to our needs and requests. We had leftovers that I personally ate for days as it was so delicious, I highly recommend the chicken pasta casserole and butter tarts! Thank you so much to the chef and to everyone we worked with for such amazing food for our event!”

“A real joy to visit - the staff clearly care about the wolves so much and were generous when answering questions. The non-invasive viewing area was a nice touch and I loved the random collection of wolf related movie posters. Had a great time for an hour. Thank you.”

“This place is so delicious and does not disappoint! I came here for a second time and it was still as good as I remember. My husband and I were snowmobiling in the forest and we took a break for lunch. The takeout was very fast and efficient. We both had wings and Caesar salad. The wings were juicy and well fried. The salad was fresh and you could tell their dressings are homemade. We both got cappuccinos and it was strong and well made. We can’t wait to come back and have more delicious food!”
