“Such a beautiful place, I could just imagine what it was like living there. Reminds me of an old movie and it makes me happy. When I was there it was under construction I believe for its 100th year, next year, pretty cool.”

“We went during the summer before heading to the Battle of the Windmill in Prescott. Great tour and our guide was extremely knowledgeable - don't skip this museum! The artifacts and pieces of history throughout the home really provide a great look into the lives of those who lived there and the time period.”

“It was unexpected but very pleasant visit to this very interesting 19th-century British designed blockhouse.Young volunteers were very knowledgeable and helpful, they told us a lot about the family who lived there. The Museum have loaned artifacts brought by Descendants of settlers including trunks, old machinery, books, portraits, clothes, china and original letters. Very interesting, worth to visit! the Museum is located just near Lock.”

“Pretty good place to visit. Went as a family and the kids had a great time in the cockpit trailer and the flying simulator setup. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a great gentleman to chat with. Right now, it is pretty bare but great quality (rare operable planes), so as an adult plan on an hour, but as a family with young kids, we spent three hours there fully entertained. Once they get more pieces and open up more areas, this will be a great venue.”
