“We rented a Houseboat last summer from Rideau Lakes Houseboats in Portland, We have rented boats many times from other companies over the last decade, from the time we arrived to the time of check out everything was perfect, these boats are kept in a very high standard nest we ever rented . They are very spacious and clean,with all modern equipment, GPS ipad was provided , USB ports for us to keep our phones charged a bonus. It was a hot week and the Central Air Conditioning worked perfect, We used the two single kayaks everyday as there are many enchanting places to take them, Heather gave us a childs Kayak for our 8 year old at No extra cost. They provide many extras at no extra cost which made our vacation super. The Rideau Lakes are Spectular, the beauty is unlike anywhere we have visited, so peaceful, we stopped at a couple of towns for some very good meals, most of them we cooked on the boat, the cleaning water made it perfect for swimming. Everything we needed and more was provided, the fuel consumption was so affordable, we spoke to people who rented from another company who charged for engine run time, Rideau lakes we only paid for the gas we used it was $156 for the whole week. We traveled from Portland to Jomes falls and back. The lock people were so helpful and spoke highly of Rob and Heather. Kevin at Westport docks was also very helpful. Westport and Chaffeys Locks are a must to visit. Since then we have recommemded Rideau Lakes Boat rentals to many people. We will be back in 2020. John and Linda”

“The cruise is very nice and the views are great. The entertainment is also nice and room for dancing! The food however was not the greatest, both times I took this cruise. The first time they asked how I liked my steak and didn't cook it accordingly (it looked like they just gave the same meal to everyone) and the second time the lamb was good but the carrots weren't cooked. Although it was still a lovely experince!”

“Can't recommend 1000 Islands Helicopter Tours enough! My wife and I decided to take advantage of their $50 (per person) special pricing last weekend and it was worth every penny and more. Thoroughly professional, incredibly friendly staff and especially our pilot Bill, who made my wife (not good with heights and on her first helicopter ride) feel comfortable and secure. The flight at that price was about 6-7 minutes which was enough to give us a terrific view, some great pictures and a promise to each other to come back for a longer flight! Thanks to everyone at 1000 Islands Helicopters for a great experience!”
