“Very nice beach, clean and spacious. It is usually a bit crowded in the weekend during the season, so it is better to arrive there early. Very big parking lot. Due to COVID-19, the playground is closed and access to washrooms requires masks. Pay is by car at the entrance, it is about $15 per car for the whole day. We were asked to leave before 8:00pm which might be early for some. Highly recommend.”

“Stayed at the 3B oTENTik with my dogs. Such a lovely place. Clean public washrooms and a cute park for kids. Even the outhouse was clean. Overall great experience, can't wait to return next year. There are also nice gazebos to have a picnic under. Overall this area felt extremely safe and well looked after. The closet trail was a little unkempt so I avoided it with my dogs because I was worried about ticks. I did manage to go to the other set of trails further down the parkway and the set of trails in Landon Bay. All those trails were beautiful and well kept. Some of the trails were on the side of a cliff with movable rocks, so careful if you have issues with mobility. The parking lots are very small at the trail heads but I was able to manage. The coolest part of my trip was hearing the coyotes howling in the middle of the night!”

“As all KOA campgrounds it is clean with nice open sites. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The sites are open but they are a good size so you don't feel on top of each other. All areas are really clean and tidy. They have a good size playground and lots of things for the kids to do, even with the restrictions of covid. There is a dog park and walk path to keep our furry friends happy. The pool is heated and well maintained. You will enjoy your stay here as we did.”

Rock Island Camp

“Very nice park. We had a full sun site with plenty of grass to cool our feet! Washrooms and showers were closed due to the COVID-19 but not a big deal for us. The staff will fill your fresh water tank and empty your grey & black tanks if needed. Park is well spread out, enough walking or cycling around the park. There are a couple of trails to take you to the lake for a dip. Very nice folks and wish them lots of success with their park.”

Prices may be on the high end of the scale but for us, worth it! A big thank you!”

1000 Islands Camping Resort

Address: 382 Thousand Islands Pkwy, Lansdowne, ON K0E 1L0, Canada

Campground Lodging Park

“My family and I have been coming to this campground as seasonals for 5 years now. It’s a nice quiet campground with decent sized sites in great location in the Thousand Islands. Mature trees, excellent walking and biking paths along the 1000 Islands Parkway. The management and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. It has a beautiful and very well maintained saltwater heated pool that we use often. Sites range from wooded, semi wooded and open field that cater to RV, Trailers and Tenters alike. It has a nice little Clubhouse store for nice ice cream, wood and some other items that you may have forgotten when travelling/arriving. Quiet, family run campground. Large sites, great location! The few bad reviews I seen on here must be coming from disrespectful people who don't have common sense to follow simple rules to make everyone's time at the park enjoyable. For those that know me, I am a very particular individual and this campsite has all the amenities that one would need to camp and have a relaxing and fun time. We highly recommend!”
