“Came here during their opening weekend and sharing my experience based on this visit. During their opening weekend, they are offering a really sweet deal so I definitely can't say no to checking this restaurant out. It was a rainy, cold Sunday so a hot pot of rice noodle soup is a no brainer. When I got here, the line was long, which is expected. Great minds think alike. The wait to get a table was long, waited over an hour. Normally this is unacceptable but again, it's opening weekend. I'll start with the restaurant itself. The location is easily accessible. It's in the corner of a section in this plaza. The interior is also spacious with lots of seats. The service was extremely fast. We got our food in no time at all. I guess they want to keep the guests moving. Now for the food, can't complain. The broth is what you would expect from these restaurants. The tomato was savoury and flavourful. The appetizers were also good. The popcorn chicken was decent sizes and had a good amount of saltiness. They were also generous on the Taiwanese Sausage, good amount of size and location. One thing also worth mentioning is the Broth is boiled for 12 hours, which I jokingly say that it's not fresh since it's from yesterday. But in all seriousness, it truly enhances the flavour. Overall, I enjoyed my visit here today and wish them well overtime. Now that winter is coming, I recommend to keep this place in your radar for food that warms you up.”

“A pleasant surprise! I came here not by choice but by convenience, because the restaurant I planned to go was closed. This was the first time I tried rice noodle of western china cuisine in Ontario and did not know what to expect. I was greeted by a smiling waitress at the door and was escorted to my table. When asked, she recommended Today's (Wednesday's) lunch Special with drink for $9.99 and mentioned Thursday's Special was also available. I chose Thursday's. Sooner than expected, she brought a tray with 12 ingredients, a bowl of rice noodle and a can of coke, followed by a bowl of sizzling beef bone soup. Excellent food presentation for this price range! I asked the waitress how to eat the noodle. She patiently introduced each ingredient, asked whether I wanted it and gently put each desirable ingredient into the soup for me. She also told me that I could order as much noodle as I could eat, free of additional charges. The soup was heavenly delicious! Obviously they cooked it with heart. Excellent service, excellent food presentation and excellent cooking! Worth more than the price I paid. The waitress deserved a generous tip too. I would recommend it.”

“I come here occasionally to buy their fresh handmade fish paste. The quality is quite good. Their egg noodles are very average in flavour, nothing special. Although there was one time that I came here and I saw a chef in the back clip his nails in front of the food that he was making us (since we were the only ones dining in at the time, I would assume that the food wasn't for anyone else), and next thing I know, he takes the food from that very pot to serve to us. Never dined in again (out of sight out of mind)”

“This restaurant has an all day dim sum special, $3.49 per dish regardless of size (S, M or L). The food is really good and fresh. They are being served quite quickly. Service is a little slow. It is a pretty busy place and didn't seem to have enough wait staff for the crowd. Although the restaurant is very busy with long line up, table distancing is good and all staffs are wearing mask. We haven't try their dinner but would recommend to go there for dim sum. You will get great value of food for the price you pay. We suggest that you should go early to avoid the line up and items being sold out.”

“Should give this store credit where it’s due. This is the same location as what was formerly Check-In Tokyo but people seem to continue to post reviews under the old name. This is the third time we’ve ordered from them since they reopened during the pandemic. Fish is fresh and rolls are creative. They give you sashimi other than the typical salmon, red tuna and red snapper. I’ve been happy with their consistency and quality. They also sell uni by the tray but the price has gone up a lot. Call ahead to pre-order.”

“I ordered the chicken wrap combo with Mexican style, however, I realized it’s Beijing style when I was back in my office. Besides the part that I don’t like Beijing style, it’s super salty as well. I’m from Northeast China, we consume too much salt compare to other people, so when I say it’s super salty, I really mean it. I feel really full after eating the wrap and fries, fried chicken in the wrap are very good. I haven’t tried the 2pcs fired chicken yet. They smell good.”

“Really enjoyed the sushi here for the price. I have brought friends and family here several times and we are never disappointed- even the non-sushi fans. Ingredients are fresh and there are many options. Service is very friendly. I always get the pressed sushi- it melts in your mouth and is super flavourful.
